During a phone conversation, Lance and Ken call Tommy to his mansion for something urgent, and when he comes, Ken breaks to him the news that Sonny is coming to Vice City to collects his money. Tommy instructs Ken to get twenty million (the subtitles say three) fake cash in the briefcases, and tells Lance to get the guys together. Afterwards Sonny shows up at his door with his men and it turns out that Lance is a rat, and that Sonny was responsible for Tommy spending 15 years in prison. A big shootout follows where Tommy kills a whole army of mobsters, before finally getting his revenge on Lance and Sonny. My question is, where were Tommy's men during this mission? Even if Lance didn't "get them together", their job remains in the mansion. Yet Tommy was completely alone during that mission. His men couldn't have been simply murdered like in Scarface, because after the mission ends, they are still present in his mansion and pretty much all around it. What do you think? Take into account Tommy is running an empire all around Vice City so obviously not all of the Vercetti gang would be at the mansion (I know they spawn there regardless because of the game coding but realistically they all wouldn't be lurking around the mansion); they'd probably be out protecting assets, collecting protection money, selling drugs or whatever other errands they run so Lance would simply have to not contact them and then give the remaining gang members near the mansion something to do to get them away from the estate. join the 11% Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No man would be crazy enough to face a guy like Tommy. Look what happend to Sonny and Lance? They got on Tommy's bad side and asked for it. The last time i did this mission some Vercetti gang members were shooting at the rival gangs so there were a few that spawned inside Tommy's Mansion. Even though sometimes they do it's not like their going to help Tommy kill Sonny's goons. The poor guys are only equipped with pistols. They start carrying UzI machine guns by the end of the game. But i've never had an issue facing Sonny's gang by myslef. So Tommy wouldn't need any help. Tyla Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 I'm just gonna put it out there that the two guys who were shown in the story as Tommy's men, Mike and the other one, used to work for Diaz and were dubiously absent when Tommy and Lance murdered their boss in Rub Out. All of those guys are just hired goons. I'm with others that Lance or Sonny paid them to stay away. If the Forellis had of killed Tommy, they probably would've gone to work for him. Seen as Tommy came out on top, they stayed put. You can get them to spawn in the last mission by leaving the mansion and going for a walk around Starfish Island. Crappy iPhone quality but here 'ya go... And it is possible to get the Vercetti Gang with weapons other than Pistols before the final mission. Just play Keep Your Friends Close, fail the mission by having the Mafia steal all your cash (don't worry, you get it back) and the Vercettis suddenly start to carry TEC-9's same as the Forellis. I one time during that mission went out of starfish island then came again but Tommy men are not there. I thinks Sonny men killed all Tommy men then dressed up like Tommy's men. And when tommy went into mansion just went out, grabbed guns, changed dress then again came in. Pretty funny when I thinks this possibility.
