Is Los Santos Connection the offical AFK mission now?

What happened to this fun mission?

When I join Los Santos Connection nowadays 2 or 3 out of 6 players are afk standing at the spawn waiting for it to be completed by other players.

The last time I played this mission 2 people spawned in their apartment (sitting it out over the full distance), 1 trolled at the spawn just to suicide himself 2 times, 1 other guy went into his kuruma just to sit it out at the spawn point. All in all me and another guy participated in this mission, which is 2 out of 6 players..

Seems like mission trolls left the field and afk players took over

Just suck it up and exit the mission. If they burn through the spare lives they fail and if they hide in their apartment they get nothing or have to finish on their own.

The mission is no fun any more now that everyone and their granny just bombs the sh*t out of everything in Savages.

In a mission of 6 players there's always at least someone afk, but tbh I prefer afk ppl then pathetic troll wanna-bes running ppl over with their Kurumas. It's sad no one uses the kick option.

Or Hydras most likely. I actually try to mix things up and grab my Technical. Unfortunately, by the time I get it, and have someone in the back, the rest are already starting their bombing run at the airport.

Yeah and there is always a player going only for the money crates. They dont help at all during the mission they just drive to the money crate. get out take the money then after that most of the time they die cause they didn't take the time to kill the ennemies first.... When someone is voting to kick someone in a mission it should pop on the bottom of the screen of the other players. Cause right now they way its made, I have to write a message to the other people in the game to tell them to vote to kick the AFK guy.

Congratulations OP a thread I actually like lol

LSC is definitely the go-to mission for AFKers.

There's a plus side in that if everyone dies you can pick things up and finish it off solo.

I'd say most often it's 4:2 ratio of players to AFKers. I've seen 2:6 a few times lmao, and once 1:5

If there is only one or two afk players i can almost always get them kicked.

This too. I have waited for people to die doing this then finished myself more than once, only to have people kicked at the end or wait for everyone to just leave. No one profits off my work.

How do you kick from a contact mission? Never thought of kicking past loading lobby since I don't do contact missions with randoms.

Look on one bright side OP. If all the others are AFK in LSC, you get all the crates which is an extra $6,000.

On the point of AFK If I want to play the mission, i play it regardless of who is with me. If they help, great. If not then as long as they stay out of the way I'm happy to take all bonuses.

You have to vote them out. First i send everyone a message via text "lets kick soandso" then vote them out myself. Next i usually have to literally explain how to do it so i send another message saying something like "go to pause, online, players, soandso, kick". They usually get it and shortly after i see that refresshing message "soandso left" at the bottom right corner of the screen.

I run AFKers over. Then I drive or fly around with the final objective until they quit, or even better, start sending me hate mail. One time I literally wasted an hour driving around the map while the AFKer sent me message after message of pure rage. So funny, and so much sweeter than the payout I could have had 45 minutes earlier. When he finally gave up and quit, it tasted like... victory.

And that's the reason I only do contact missions with friends or crew or just solo it. That's too much work! LOL

Depending on how many AFK players there are, you just finish it, then vote for freemode then mug them, easy 10k a pop

I go AFK on that mission once I see everyone and their mom's calling for their Pegasus vehicles. What do I need to play for?

Yea it's pretty annoying, idk why people are so lazy, i could and want to be doing other things than grinding my ass off for hours but i can't as i want money so why do people think they can just bludge it? I always get people kicked and if they don't i leave or purposely fail the mission f*ck carrying lazy people.

I see afk bozo's every second night. I give everyone one mission (they might be at the toilet or kitchen) and then I vote to kick them.

Been in two many contact sessions where players are the first to rejoin the crew and then do nothing at all, won't even answer messages.

The other night a guy told me "5 min bro" I appreciated the message so I carried on and lo and behold, he came back. I commended him for actually doing what he said he would.

If I detect others immediately scrambling for their hydras and savages, I usually complete the Granger.

Otherwise, I pick up my Buzzard (a gentleman's attack helicopter, unlike the uncouth slobs who use the Savage). I always vote kick people who sit at the spawn.

Is this The Guy?

I usually just run them over. Get me a kill and complete the mission

I could give a f*ck what other people are doing to be honest. I blaze through every mission like I'm the only one there, hook some random noobs up with free cash and move on with my life. I feel like the only people who take this kind of thing seriously are people who spend their whole time on GTA by themselves or with randoms...

Why don't you just solo the mission? It's not very hard.

Exactly THIS^

LS connection is the perfect mission for the second cool down on Sightseer

easy to solo and if you pick up all the money a very nice pay out

OP - Valid point. I never really thought about this! Fact is I have played this mission so many times and been stuck out there alone but anybody with a Buzzard can crush this with ease so I never paid attention.

Easy way for lazy fools to make a cool 25 g's, letting people like me do all the work.

Fact is, I don't need the help anyway, you do you lazy AFK people.

That's a random accusation, and a wrong one. I mostly play with friends but AFKers on missions still piss me off. It's the principle of the thing; I wasn't raised to freeload (even in a game) and I can't respect people that do. I don't mind if a friend is running missions with me and then has to AFK one; as long as he tells me, it's fine. And I don't mind carrying worse players who are legitimately trying but just can't do things as fast as me. What I do mind is people assuming that other people they don't even know are going to make them money while they get blazed or surf the internet. f*ck that. I'd rather troll them.

I don't care if you're AFK, I'm just making money. If someone being AFK bothers you so much, you need to reevaluate yourself because video game missions don't matter.
