Does the Merryweather security guards suffer from tourettes syndrome?

After doing the VIP missions where you break into the headquarters of Merryweather to steal a briefcase, and doing so many pac standard heist... I firmly believe that these guys suffer from a severe case of tourettes syndrome. Just listen to their dialogue real carefully, and you'll see the similarity.

 

They remind me of the internet celebrity tourettes guy.

It's not just Merryweather. For fun, one time I got in the back of a NPC driven truck (one of the ones carrying a load of scrap metal) and rode it around. Guy curses non-stop for no apparent reason. Doesn't say much other than cursing.

yep , they're pretty much mercenaries counterpart of professional ( both were former servicemen , both has military experience so it make sense how crackshot they are , both has tendecy to shout during shootout , courier service , both can be seen wearing body armor and bodyguard for variety of valuable employers )

 

interestingly , in V merryweather are player's antagonist group while O is professionals because they're encountered more often and does not appear in V

I don't think you understand what Tourette Syndrome actually is.

 

Clearly you seem to think Tourette's is involuntary swearing. That is an actual psychiatric disorder, it's called "coprolalia", and is present in a very small minority of people with Tourette's. It is more common in people with Tourette's, but is not exclusive to people with Tourette's.

 

What Tourette's is mainly about is tics, involuntary muscle twitches. This is usually in the form of blinking, throat clearing, or other little involuntary twitches.

For the record, the Merryweather guards are not exhibiting involuntary swearing. They might not be consciously aware of it, but nevertheless it is a learned behavior that is now reflexive for them, not involuntary.
