What OP seems unable to understand is that it doesn't matter how many cars of each class there is, people will always pick the ones that give them an edge, Armored Kuruma, Supers, for the simple fact that they are competing against each other, if C* would have made vehicles within classes closer toghether when it comes to performance, or at least, give the less powerful ones extra updates to compete fairly against the top performing ones on each class we would see much more variety in what people drive, but no, you have classes dominated but a couple of cars and the rest are just useless.

I agree that we need more balancing done (even in sports class that already has a few options), but I'm not sure I would say that the Zion is too overpowered for the coupes class, the Felon sedan is right there with it... still need more options for coupes though.

 

Same with muscle, the Dukes is right with the Dominator according to Broughy (I only just got current gen so I haven't raced them yet to see myself), and the Blackfin is really close behind, with the Blade being really close too. Since the Dominator is sorta tough for a lot of people to drive, I'd say the Blackfin and Dukes are certainly viable alternatives in any situation other than at the very peak of competition.

 

That aside, I agree some balancing needs to be done. I'd even be totally satisfied if cars we already had were buffed instead of getting new cars. Or if the Stirling was nerfed or moved into the sports class, sports classics was an awesome class before that thing pissed all over it.

I'm not gonna discredit anything you say, because it's valid. What you say about the Dominator can also be said for the Elegy RH8 in Sports, they're defintely the quickest, but they are pretty hard to drive. The Zion and the Felon are pretty competitive (Even the Exemplar) but the Zion is the easier car to drive, so easier to be consistent in. The Felon has that issue that it flips on 2 wheels real easy and the Exemplar lacks cornering speed towards the Zion, but I'll take back that it's OP

R* should have better balanced the cars a long time ago. Maybe they think catch up is the answer to their lack of balance..i dunno.

 

For me.. the Dominator is only really OP in non muscle car tracks. Cause when i think of muscle car racing, the tracks need to to be shorter and probably have alot of dirt being flung around. Basically tracks where the dominator can't really be OP.

 

Sedans... well. Not much has changed besides a Schafter being used.. but just a new version. I personally luv new v12 version, just for actually free roam.

 

Suvs.. meh. SUvs are for picking up kids, road trips and drive bys

Suvs have always been meh for me. Main reason being i find them to be great slower cruising vehicles. Also it seems that SUVs also seem to come up more then street bike races. Which is another reason as to why i hate suv races. Like TURN ON the BIKES DUDE!!! FOR f*ck SAKES...lol

Im probably the only guy in GTA O that bought the most expensive apartment in the game to store all my crotch rockets in...lol

 

And people probably hate Thunder Kiss because its not that dominator friendly with no side walks to boost off of with bunch of dirt filled turns. EVen the straights can cause you to spin out because it so bumpy..lol

I agree, the bungle with these Schafters this time around is pretty frustrating.

 

I'd love racing SUVs if we had more options in the class. Now that we have enough garage space I will eventually pick up a Huntley, but otherwise I want an actual SUV for the class, not a goofy crossover thing, regardless of its performance. I too like the weighty aspect of them but that's something I think most of the people playing this game don't care much for... but then I also love rain and snow racing which, sadly, most people avoid like the plague.

What OP seems unable to understand is that it doesn't matter how many cars of each class there is, people will always pick the ones that give them an edge, Armored Kuruma, Supers, for the simple fact that they are competing against each other, if C* would have made vehicles within classes closer toghether when it comes to performance, or at least, give the less powerful ones extra updates to compete fairly against the top performing ones on each class we would see much more variety in what people drive, but no, you have classes dominated but a couple of cars and the rest are just useless.
