Super class is probably the most balanced actually. Zentorno, T20 and Osiris...

 

Sports classic is broken. That Stirling GT pretty much ruined it. I still love her tho <3

Removing that ridiculous spare tyre spoiler would certainly balance it out.

This has me thinking of the compact class. This needs more attention because I'm bored with the Blista and need something to keep me entertained.

 

Add a Ford Fiesta ST, a Honda Civic Type R, Mercedes Benz A-Class, BMW i3 or an Audi A1 Quattro and I'll buy it at an instant.

I would love another chopper,cruiser or touring motorcycle,but not another ugly Honda power cruiser/sport-touring bike like Thrust and Vindicator,I want some more classic looking bike.It doesn´t even have to be a Harley Davidson just as long as it has that classic chopper/cruiser look,it can be based on an Indian or some metric cruiser or touring bike.Currently there are only 5 classic looking choppers/cruisers/touring bikes in GTA 5 and we haven´t got any new ones for over a year,since LTS gave us Innovation.

Also,R* could add some classic cars other than sport classics and muscles (maybe some classic sedan similar to Glendale or a classic compact similar to Rhapsody),as well as some 90s JDM cars.

This X 1000! TLaD, to this day, is still my favorite part of the GTA universe. I'd love to see the Zombie and the Nightblade return. Chino should have been the Continental sedan, not coupe. I'd like to see more large sedans added, like a coupe de ville or Impala or anything of the sort.

The Muscles are the biggest class in the entire game, with Sports being positioned at second. However, even with 9 or 10 Supers, it's still the most overrated and overused class in the entire game.

"Overrated" is subjective. you're going off the notion that supers, as a class, is overrated, simply because the quickest, most responsive car in the game, has always been a supercar of some kind (but honestly though, what do you expect?). it's not that the super cars class is overrated and overused, it's that a few cars from that class are overused, much like some cars from other classes, though not seen quite as much by like a decimal. if the supers CLASS was overrated, you'd also be seeing too much of every other car in the class. but when's the last time you saw someone driving a Bullet? or a Voltic? how often do you see an Infernus or a Cheetah? the Turismo R's popularity isn't what it used to be either.

through MY experience? i don't come across super car races that much. for me, it's mostly either sports, muscle or sedans. sometimes offroad. so no, i don't see super car races almost all the time.

 

also, the top speed of the cars in sports classics is irrelevant, because as i said, the supers class has the quickest, most responsive cars. and that's what makes them popular. yeah, the Z-Type or the Stirling GT may rival the top supers in terms of "top speed"- but they're not going to reach that top speed nearly as quick, nor are they going to handle as solid around corners. a Z-Type will likely get blown up by an insurgent pick-up MUCH quicker than a T20 or an Osiris would, simply because in terms of quickness, the Z-Type is a turtle compared to those two. and that's why you see more T20s and Osirises in free roam than you see Z-Types and Stirling GTs.

 

am i knocking the other classes? no, i'm not. just stating reasons why the supposed "overrated" classes have certain cars that get used as much as they do. and that's because even outside of racing, they have many uses, whether it be trying to get somewhere as quick as possible, trying to escape an ugly situation, pursuing another player, etc.

I'm still waiting for the Porsche 918 then im fine with no more supers not that there are that many.

Marry me. I would love a 918 in GTA V. Especially the Spyder version. Also a Hennessy Venom or F5 would be amazing as well, or even a new car for Overflod. I would also love some sports classics based on the Testarossa, Diablo or Countach and an old Porsche 995 I think it is, the RWB one specifically. All those classics would be amazing in a 1980s update.

I don't see anything much wrong with adding more muscle cars and low riders and sports classics, as long as they have decent modification options. Yeah, we have got a lot of them but they are also the most popular type for car shows and cruises and such, and they offer a wider variety of looks (can go pure stock classic, retro hot rod, pro touring, understated classic look, etc).

 

Look at the Chino when it came out... It appealed to the lowrider crowd with bright colors and more wild modifications, to the luxury guys with classier colors and subtle changes, a few people made awesome vintage plain-jane cars with colors pea green and such, mafia roleplayers liked it in black with simple wheels. The Virgo was much the same as well.

 

You can't really get that variety from many of the other classes. I'm not at all saying the other classes don't have any variety, just not as much most of the time. Most supers are basically "wing and splitter" or "no wing and splitter" as far as styles go, sports are often racer look or grand touring look, with the occasional halfway "street" sorta look depending on what modifications Rockstar included.

 

Before someone jumps on me, I'm not saying that I don't want to see other types added in either. I still want to see a super car like the Hennessey Venom or an SSC Ultimate Aero or something that has a nice nasty sounding V8 instead of all of this V12-esque sounding stuff. I'd like to see some more racing versions of the sports cars like the Coquette and Comet that are pushed closer to the front of the sports class so we have more options, among other things.

 

I guess I'm just saying that I think most of the classic cars offer enough variety in styles that the community gets enough use out of them to justify their regular inclusion.
