Weather problems?

Is it just me... but is the weather cycle broken in free roam?

 

A few nights ago a friend sort of brought it up. But its like the weather is always sunny for a few days.. then rains one day and repeats that weather cycle.. And it only ever rains during the day time. With a small chance every once in a while for a thunderstorm during the day.

 

 

I have not seen rain at night for a very long time. And especially not a thunder storm at night. Funny thing is.. i can't really remember the last time i did see a crack of lightning at night. I mean i remember it visually... but it was a damn long time ago.

 

This is on xbox one tho. Is the weather patterns the same for you guys? Even on ps4 or PC when online?

I have seen rain during night too, not sure if more often than during the day tho.

Never really paid attention to it but thinking of it it's true. Online most of the time it's sunny and rain comes during the day. Thunderstorms are almost legendary.

In SP it feels a little bit different, like more rain in the night, but thunderstorms are rare even there

My friend brought it up during the Humane Raids heist.. The last set up with the emp is at night and its raining. Alls he said was... is it it me or does it never rain like this`at night anymore in free roam`

 

 

Which got me thinking about it.

It's most likely not "broken" in the sense that it is not working properly, but more likely to be "broken" in the sense that it's a retarded system working perfectly fine.

Rarest weather I have had is a thunderstorm at night.

It's not something I've paid close attention to, but I definitely saw a lightning strike the other night. I'll keep it in mind, and report back later.

I love the rain. Who cares if it would actually happen IRL or not, it's a game. To be honest,I would love it if snowed for the whole month of December kinda sucks it's only a week or two each year

Only rain at night I have seen is in that one heist setup where you have to drive all the way to the insurgent and then to the labs.

I'm originally from So. Cal. It doesn't rain that much there even during an El Nino!

Except it's not LA. It's Los Santos, where days are 48 minutes long and it snows in the desert at Christmas.

Weather, radio, time, and a bunch of other stuff are all synced.

It also doesn't snow in the desert, but it does in Los Santos. Go play a simulator if you want to be so anal about weather effects. It rains more than it should in real life to give variety.

A single day doesn't last an hour either. It being a never ending sunny day is boring as f*ck.
