Experienced Player Expressing Concerns

I've noticed a number of issues with this game at the moment and having played this game for a few years I'm extremely disappointed in R* right now i have to say.

 

I don't know what this update did but its ruined Deathmatchs completely you cant even shoot like before everything is more delayed and it feels like they have added a new recoil which is horrendous. Add that to the fact everyone wears helmets and just shoots bare RPG's we may as well say R.I.P to deathmatches. To me this is gutting i used to love playing Deathmatches now i don't even want to join one.

 

Now with that out the way I'm going to list all the issues and problems i believe R* should pay more attention to because some parts of the community are suffering because of it.

 

- If you dont have the money for a yacht you have a choice of buying shark cards. I don't know if its just me but i find the prices of those shark cards laughable at best. Seriously £80 quid it would cost you to buy 10 million dollars worth of in game money to then go and buy the best yacht you can get. Nothing in this world can warrant spending your hard earnt cash to that effect.

 

- What is the real point of these yachts? we can't move them. We cant sell them and we cant do any game modes with them. In other words they are a complete waste of money in my opinion. They act as is a save point.

 

- Loading screens in between jobs are horrendous sometimes i can make two or three cups of tea while a wait. WTF? nothing wrong with my net and i run through Ethernet. I really cant be assed to wait around in black screens because a game has so much in it it takes forever to load.

 

- Players leaving jobs is another issue that pisses me right off. Why join if you're gunna leave once you realise how sh*t you are? either don't bother joining or there should be harsher penalty's towards these selfish butthurt people. They are allowed to join and leave way to easily in my opinion and it has potential to ruin a whole job for everyone else.

 

- The amount of jobs i join on call which are labelled $10000000000 + 20000000RP DM or Gggggggggggg or 8000000000rp $$$$$$$ or race200000000rp plus $$$$$$ or RP! INFINI ET $$$$$$$ its a JOKE and I'm fed up with it. You mean to tell me that with three years of this game and R* can still not filter this sh*t out and stop people making jobs with this headline yet they can give us a dam yacht which costs a arm and a leg and does sweet f*ckall.

 

- Crews in GTA 5 Online are another big joke here. Most seem to think they can tell you what to do and that its like real life completely forgetting the aspect of just having fun. All rather boring if you ask me.

 

- To top it off the game is filled with sh*t modders who don't know how to create decent mods or just want to ruin the game for everyone else. I've noticed on consoles recently they are a lot more hacked accounts with players having ridiculous levels and money. There is no place for this in GTA 5 Online and I hope R* resolve it for the sake of others.

 

- More creator issues as well I went to make a sea race the other day and went I kept wanting to test it it was giving me a 9F Cabrio instead of a Seashark what on earth is that all about?

 

At the moment I find myself wasting hours at a time getting no where in this game which then turns into extreme frustration.

 

No doubt some on this forum will start getting at me, couldn't give two sh*ts half of you barely play the game and sit here instead on this forums like a keyboard warrior. If this is you then don't comment I want to hear from those who actually play the dam game not just run their mouth.

The yacht is ultimate excess in this game. You buy it only of you are filthy rich, much as in real life. You shouldn't buy it with shark cards, and i doubt that many will. Mirroring that, it's also great that yacht isn't something super great and useful, as it would make us poor players so butthurt and envious that it would be just unbearable.

1. You kinda have me there. I miss the original payout system of this game that pays 36k for Rooftop Rumble. No denying that shark cards played a part. My main suggestions for this is either find a crew or a Heist group and take advantage of that exploit. Or you could always do a money glitch.

 

2. It's suppose to be that useless luxury item you don't need like the Swift and Luxor Deluxe. The ultimate "apartment".

 

3. Rockstar's crappy servers. If they had dedicated servers you'll probably see less of them.

 

4. Sometimes someone's crap connection might kick them out. Keep that in mind.

 

5. You can actually filter them in the options. I actually had to "retire" from them for awhile because of the amount of those jobs you see so often. I'll never know what appeals to those type of deathmatches?

 

6. Those type of crews are better than those ign type crews in my opinion. Less morons and more players who know their sh*t.

 

7. Rockstar's Anti-Cheat system sucks. They're more concerned on cash card sales than fixing them. As soon as one method is patched 3 more show up.

Shark cards are worth it for those that are gainfully employed and don't have dozens of hours per week to play a game.

Deathmatches are fine, check your internet connection mate. Additionally, using BP helmets have been used since they were released. I use them all the time!

 

If you don't want rockets play maps with forced weapons, me and my crew always do that to keep things interesting and fair.

 

If you enlist with a crew find out what the crew rules are. If you don't like them don't be part of the crew.

 

Use search filters when looking for custom jobs to bookmark.

 

Yachts are awesome, you can spawn there change,shower, let friends change/shower, hang-out with crew, drink, call strippers, have easy access to several vehicles, move around the map quickly, go in a hot-tub with friends, drink, smoke, and conduct VIP missions from there to deploy quickly or defend yacht VIP Mission.

 

No ones forcing you to buy Shark Cards, I haven't purchased a single one in over 2 years.

 

If you don't like the game then stop playing and go be salty somewhere else.

On your first point, I don’t care, Deathmatches are boring. I'm not the right person to give a sensible answer on this.

It’s not the truth in the slightest. No one forces anyone to buy a shark card. If someone wants to pay for game money, they do so of their own choosing. No one has to have a yacht, it’s not a requirement of the game. Sure stuff is expensive but without glitches, DNS days, double cash etc etc it woud keep this stuff exclusive and give a purpose to GTA O.

 

As for the Yachts, it’s called fun. Maybe a waste of time to you, fun to others. I refer back to your love of Deathmatches – I could easily ask “What is the point of these? They are boring and all the same”. Each to their own, live and let live.

Tends to vary in my experience. Waiting 30 seconds to a minute is no big deal. If I had something more important to do, I wouldn’t be playing a video game. I get the same sort of variation in loading times in Destiny. Of course dedicated servers may help but it’s not a big deal. Things need time to load.

Maybe they lagged out, their internet connection dropped, they had to leave urgently. We don’t all sit on a bucket with a plastic bottle to urinate in and have our parents feeding us in our basement. Be more understanding. Sure some people rage quit, but that will not always be the case. Maybe they just realised what they were playing was sh*t or had a real life issue to attend to? Unless you message them and they reply you will never know.

Join a decent crew then or start your own. You claim some treat it as if it's real life (and I agree, they do) yet you fail to recognise real life in your point about players leaving jobs.

Aren’t any modders on current gen. It’s to be expected on PC and last gen unfortunately.

It’s the game telling you that no one wants to play a sea race I guess. Sh*t happens. Most likely a temporary bug. I've had stuff that's tested fine in the Creator but when we come to play it, it's had a mind-fart.

That’s not very friendly. I play the game and create stuff. Also help out in a decent crew. Just before you accuse me of being a keyboard warrior (I don't think a keyboard would be a very good weapon - not a lot of range. Maybe a keyboard ninja 'cos then you could sneak up on people).
