As far as I remember there is one section when the train first enters the city with 2 tracks but I'm pretty sure like 80% of the line is single track

Trains can go in either direction (there are 2 tracks - not 1), but you'll never see 2 at the same time. The train spawns are irregular at best and you can sometimes go for hours without seeing one.

They should scrap this pointless sh*tty train online and put in a proper train with some high class cabins and all that sh*t. Would've been an ideal addition for Executives & other criminals. Have it impenetrable from the outside of course to prevent people getting K.O'd inside by a rocket on the outside.

but... but i always saw the train was going clockwise, at least from Sandy Shore towards Zancudo area to Paleto bay and all thw way back to sandy shore then los santos

My former crew, Domestic Twattery, used the train for a game they named "Death Train". They would board it at the power station (where it stops), put bounties on each other, then watch and wait for randoms to try to get them while the train moved across the map.

There are at least 2 trains as I was riding on one while shooting random cars etc. when I accidentally fell off and tried chasing the train when I got knocked over by another train coming from the same direction.

unless things are glitching out, there is only one train spawned in at a time. if anyone wants to say different then show the proof. there is one line of track that actually gets used, but the train track never crosses over itself to make the track "loop". so there could be two trains and they would never collide with each other if going the same direction, now if one is going the opposite direction than the other then yes there is no way since they would collide. once one person causes the train to spawn it does not spawn for anyone else, you have to wait for it to circle back. once you hop off if no one else is around then it will respawn going the same direction and once and a while going the other direction or spawn else where for some one else, but i feel it will spawn for that first person before somewhere else for another player.
