New Ban wave, GTA V Online ! =)

I guess Rockstar just banned a bunch of cheaters. Hopefully they are finally going to do something about the mess that GTA O is. Then again it's highly doubtful.

 

 

:side note:

I got banned for using the EISS mod that people were mentioning on these forums. It's supposed to be security against the cheaters , it's not. lol

Stay far away from it, it doesn't work anyway.

This game would have been so amazing on PC if Rockstar even tried to combat the cheaters. =(

And no i don't think it was destine to fail on PC. Every online game has cheaters but never in my life have i seen a company ignore them like Rockstar does.

Well you can't really get mad at the guy for trying to find a way to get rid of modders on his own.... Sucks he got banned for it. It is a risk nonetheless. I hate modders to the extreme so I have zero sympathies for anyone who used to take advantage of the game and the players in sessions...

These so called 'bans" aren't even bans. They're just 2 weeks slap on the wrist. Kinda like getting sent to your room with out supper, yet mom always brings you something later on. These losers will be back to their cheating ways in a few weeks time. If Rockstar really wanted to combat cheaters, they'd do a permanent lock to their account, and IP address, if possible.

Agreed. 100% OP, it should be a permanent ban to anyone who cheats or trys to take control of the game out of R*'s hands.

So far those measures are mostly attempted resolutions that offer a temporary fix. Within a few days or weeks, it all falls a part and cheaters are back on the board. At least the ones who managed to stay under the radar. Rockstar simply needs to be tougher when it comes to handing out bans. Make them a 1 time temp ban and a 2nd time perma-ban.

Now now. I did not said you complained about being banned but the length of it. So yeah there is nothing wrong with me. I am just pointing out as 1 st ban is super light but 2nd is a month then 20 years. Edited December 20, 2015 by wamakima5004
