renderedknave
GTA III's 15-year anniversary is (although more than a year away) upcoming! In celebration of such an important milestone of one of the best games ever, I'm making this mod. What is it, anyways? A complete graphical remaster, and additional fixes (mostly features that stopped working over the years, due to game's age) while maintaining all the main aspects of this game: code, RenderWare core and physics engines; essentially, what Rockstar wrote of code. It's still the original game at heart. A remaster, eh? So what's changing, exactly? Well, I haven't made much yet (around 20% of expected final, may change), but here's what I've already made: Remade intro sequence and logos, to HD quality. Smoother cars and Claude (again, very little progress, there will be a lot more). Textures now 2048x2048 (Not just crappily upscaled! Actually remade); not limited to in-game models (props, HUD, weapons, load/splash screens all get the full treatment) Aspect ratio fix for radar and others. WHAT I WON'T BE ABLE TO CHANGE Water model and animation data. (Uses raw vertex coordinates; texture will be updated, though) Missing XInput button names (for controllers). (I seriously have absolutely no idea how to do this...) Lighting. (Core RenderWare aspect.) So, when's it coming out? October 2016 (FINAL) March 2016 (BETA) I'm going to post images and demo videos as soon as I can finish at least resources for the logos, intro credits, menu and The Introduction. Might be ready in the weeks to come! Davve95

Igor Bogdanoff
You posted in wrong section. Use the Mod Showroom section instead. gtafan2u
Its a WIP mod. He can post images later. But whatever the rule of the modding showroom this modding section is not made for modders to show their mods. And let's keep this topic clean cuz if it will be moved then it needs to be good.
