Missing textures, nothing seems to work

Hi,

 

I am running GTA4 (latest patch) with some car mods (vehicle.img is about 250MB big) and the trafficload mod, and I am getting the well known missing textures bug. The first 10 minutes everrything is fine, and then all of a sudden more and more textures start missing while fps stays around 70. I have tried the commandlines suggested on this forum, i have updated my drivers, but nothing seems to fix it. I am running the game on a GTX-780TI, i7 4930K with 16 gigs of ram so I think i should not have any problem at all. I have read about the method which prevents shadows and reflections from scaling, I haven't tried it but I don't think that's the problem since my system should easily be able to handle it.

The weird thing is that, while GTA recognizes the amount of VRAM i have (3GB) it only uses about 1.2GB of it on the highest settings.

I am not running anything in the background except for MSI Afterburner, according to which I am also never using more than half of my available VRAM. Is this related to the missing textures? Does anybody know how to fix this or if I can somehow force GTA to use more VRAM?

I also had this problem a long time ago. I have checked all replaced vehicles again and again and spawned them via native trainer. Try to spawn vehicles 1 by 1 and if you cant spawn it there is an error with that vehicle. When you try to spawn vehicles if there is no problem in spawning but missing textures after you spawn the vehicle again an error is present. I have replaced nearly all vehicles with both low and very high poly models and I dont have any errors anymore..........Just playing now for 3 hrs. straight no errors and I have spawned all vehicles through the playtime. Commandlines dont fix texture errors or poppings its BS. I have commandline with -norestrictions -nomemerestrict thats all....Another problem can be if you enter the wrong vehicles.ide data there can be texture poppings too, very weird.....
