The Aquarius or the Pisces Yacht?

Did anyone buy an Orion? I like the mast and lack of bow helipad, but the helipad on what should be the hot tub, and the huge empty expanse of decking kinda ruin the stern; it was a super stingy move by Rockstar to take away the tub.

Ummm yeah you can. My male character has the aquarius and female has the Pisces. 8 hours of vip without glitching to reset it. Plebs just don't know.

I rather like the option to have one without the hot tub - makes it seem a bit more 'businesslike' instead of the 'party boat' look of the other two. But yeah, while overall it looks good, the decision to put the single helipad on the hot tub area was a bit daft, since it does look like ...someone slapped a landing pad on a hot tub. :p

 

Still going to get one as soon as I've clawed back the money - probably getting a Pisces for my other character first, though. Prefer how the Aquarius has a SuperVolito Carbon as standard (I've already got a Swift, so the extra Swift Classic's a bit redundant - that, and it'll be all-white, which doesn't look great, IMO), but on the other hand, I don't need all the extra watercraft cluttering up the stern, and the awnings all over the Aquarius' deck detract from the overall profile, compared to the 'cleaner' look of the Pisces.

I checked all 3 yatchs and i noticed that each one doesn't have the same number of defensive launch missiles.

 

The Orion has 2

 

The Pisces has 4

 

The Aquarius has 6 or 7 can't remember

 

Does it mean the defense is less effective and some choppers might pass or it's as good as the aquarius ? :whuh:

No ait vehicle can pass through any of the yacht's defenses

I have the Aquarius; knew when I got it that the Toro was overpriced and slow, but I also knew I preferred (and still do) the Super Volito over the Swift. I think I prefer the Pisces deck layout, but I'll let it wait a while before I make any decisions.

I still haven't seen any ideas even close to sensible about why very-high-end aircraft have Passive Mode disabled. It's been a few patches (and 2 new choppers) now and they haven't changed it so wtf R*?

I've considered the advantages of the Pisces but I'm sticking with the Aquarius. It just looks better to me, and I'm very shallow.

Also, I've heard there's a bug where a yacht owner can't get in the chopper that spawns on their yacht. How common is that bug?

No you can't be in passive in Swift deluxe or Volito.

 

I've never had any problem getting in my helicopter, nor have any of my friends. First I've heard of that.

 

 

Update: I finally raced the swift deluxe against the SuperVolito. Swift is officially still the fastest helicopter in the game, but oh so slightly. Volito actually has a quicker take off, but every time the swift would catch it, and gradually pull away.

I guess it's pointless for me to buy a yacht if I can't use the choppers in passive mode. Guess I'll save my money for the eventual release of mansions, coming in 2016 I assume.

 

Has anyone else found it weird that the snow is only available in online? When you switch back to story mode, the snow disappears.

Undefeated on Piracy Prevention with my Pisces as a stand alone VIP. I can take on an entire crew because they can't get on board.

 

Lost as a bodyguard on an Aquarius. We were a 3 member crew and was overtaken by one player.

 

The other two guys didn't know what they were doing and I got stuck on one of their blocked off decks.

 

Just a horrible boat. I am assuming he came from the back while I was guarding the front of the boat. It's a very flawed boat in the sense that the pirates can use your yacht to their advantage.

Unfortunately 8/10 of them are fags who watch Mr.A*SFTW and Chaotic and A*s Saints fan :-/

I actually forced some of them to speak and as I said 8/10 of them were squeakers

But don't you have to go in the interior? That's what I meant.You don't have to go to the interior to get on the front of the yacht in Aquarius! But the ways of getting to the front is less than the orion and the pisces

Tonight i have finally set aside enough to buy a Pisces. It took almost two weeks of grinding VIP missions once if not twice daily, and i was starting from scratch and saving a few 100 k extra to move it and for ammo.

 

Very much worth the saving and waiting, so damn AWESOME, and fulfilling! #PISCES MASTERCLASS..
