The Aquarius or the Pisces Yacht?

Another thing I forgot to mention before is that it makes way more sense for anyone on the fence to get the Pisces first since you can just swap to the Aquarius (for whatever bizarre reason) after the fact and only pay the 1 mil difference. Doing it the other way costs 500k to "downgrade" and you are also out the 1 mil wasted on getting the Aquarius first so you just paid 1.5 mil more to get the Pisces. Rockstar did a lousy job of not making that clear in the game so I could see how many think if they buy one and want to switch that they would have to buy the other model for full price.

 

Obviously, if one has tens or hundreds of millions of dollars this isn't a big deal but for those of us who grind for our cash, 1.5 mil is like 9-15 hours of work so it makes no sense at all for anyone who isn't dead set sure on the Aquarius to buy it off the bat unless they like the idea of possibly wasting 1.5 mil or sticking with an inferior yacht because they don't want to have thrown that 1.5 mil away.

To the people saying the vehicles that come with the Aquarius are 'better':

 

4 Seasharks > 2 Seasharks (AQUARIUS WIN)

Dinghy = Dinghy (DRAW)

Speeder > Toro (PISCES WIN) (much faster boat)

Swift > SuperVolito (PISCES WIN) (faster, sleeker, more agile...and doesn't tip over when you try to land it!)

 

2-1 TO THE PISCES!!!

 

...plus, it's much easier to access the roof on the Pisces

 

and..

 

most important of all...

 

PEASANTS LIKE ME CAN AFFORD IT!!!

What a load of rubbish. The swift is already in the game. This 'extra space for a helipad' is the same as the Acquarious and the canope over the roof making privacy protection easier? Pfft how noob can you get

Already owned a Swift and a Speeder, so I went with the Aquarius. Otherwise I'd ave spent even more buying the Super Volitio and Toro.

I'm torn myself. I just learned that the Swift that comes with the Pieces is the Deluxe version that lets you drink champagne in the back just like the SuperVolito so that takes away the big advantage the 8mil one has

The Pisces has the Swift deluxe, but not the gold version so its not really the "most expensive" as the fanboys have been claiming

That's the main thing, if you already own the Swift/Speeder - it's probably worth going for the Aquarius...but the price comparison shouldn't be a measure of how much value something has - take the Toro for instance, does it really justify a $1,750,000 price-tag? It's a very disappointing boat...

I do like the Pisces better because of the swift, speeder, and the layout. I do have to disagree with some sentiment on here that the swift is still the fastest helicopter though. I haven't tested them yet, but that Supervolito is very fast. I'm pretty sure it's faster than the swift.

 

I've bought both Volitos Pegasucks vehicles though, and I actually like both of them. I own the gold swift deluxe, and don't like it because the gold is hideous. I've wanted a white swift ever since they showed one in a trailer a while back. Now I can get the white swift, and it's a deluxe, so that's a bonus.

 

As for the boats, I really can't stand that ugly toro. Speeder looks so much better, especially in white, and it's faster.

I have a Pieces, I love it, I also own a Toro separately and love it as well. I've been reading on here how much better the Speeder is and i was curious. I've been using my speeder for the entire time I've had the yacht, so I'm pretty used to it and last night I was on someone else's totally unlocked Aquarius so I took their Toro for a ride... boy, for an expensive and pretty boat that thing handles like sh*t. It's slower than the dinghy and turns much worse than the Speeder.

 

Just a tid bit for anyone trying to decide which yacht.

Used to have an Aquarius but I don't like the tents around the flag so when I got my yacht back after an unfortunate incident where my first yacht disappeared, I bought the Pisces instead when R* got my money back from a support ticket

It's insane how much better the Pisces is. I understand the saltiness of the Aquarius owners. If I'd spent $1,000,000 more to start with, then had to spend another $1,000,000 to upgrade it, I'd be salty too.

 

The layout alone is the only reason anyone needs to choose the Pisces. The better vehicles are just the delicious icing on top.

 

I've spent a lot of time on my yacht, absolutely love defending it from pirates. I could not imagine doing it on the Aquarius. Oh, you need to get to the bow? But you're on an Aquarius... Just pop down to the second floor, it's the only way.

 

On the Pisces, second floor, third floor or jump onto the roof and run across. Having easy access to the roof is the best thing about it. I can defend myself from snipers on the beach, helicopters/jets, and boats circling my yacht. I can easily jump off on either end, and quickly jump back up. I can run across carelessly without having to fear falling into a giant gaping hole in the middle of my roof.

 

It's literally the difference between being stuck in a wheelchair, only able to use the wheelchair accessible second floor; and Spiderman, sliding across the roof at a moment's notice.

 

The helipad on the bow has a silly tarp behind it on the Aquarius. You need to land helicopters sideways or you'll risk destroying your sexy pure white Swift Deluxe's tail rotor. Then you'll be stuck on that inferior yacht! Yuck! On the Pisces? No problem, park your chopper any way you like. Plenty of room.

 

Now the boats. It's no secret that the Toro's trash. It handles like... a boat. The speeder is faster, turns sharper and and cuts through waves like a demon. I've never used the Seasharks, so having less of them to clutter my yacht is only a plus.

 

Even when it comes to the prices of all the vehicles, the Pisces is more extravagant. You're literally spending less and getting more.

 

There is nothing better about the Aquarius. Not one thing.

 

I actually enjoy flying over to other people's Aquarius' and walking around. To experience just how much better I have it. Now that is the true feeling of luxury.

Still though, it would really help if someone could come up with an objective list of pros and cons for each one. All I see are Pisces buyers defending their Pisces and Aquarius buyers defending their Aquarius.

The twin helipads was a big deal for me so it was either the Pisces or Aquarius...

 

More boats and better helicopter and when your spending that kind of money anyways you don't want any regrets...

SuperVolito looks better than the Swift (which I already had anyways, the SuperVolito is a free bonus).

 

And it has canopies on the back entrance so my Aquarius is a definite keeper. Suck it peasants.

Do you ever envision your helicopter, both boats and 2 other seasharks being in use all at the same time, and needing that third and fourth one? Neither do I.

 

Roof access makes defending your yacht easier, plus getting from one end to the other is easier and faster and most of all, it's more fun. There's more to do.

 

The Pisces even has a large antenna (I guess that's what it is) that you can run up and jump off. It's high enough that when you fall, you ragdoll into the ground. As stupid as it might sound, I've had a group of people doing that for 15 minutes. It's fun.

 

My post above gave pros and cons, I literally listed everything that's different.

Also, your post above did nothing of the kind. All you did was list all the reasons why you love your Pisces and why you believe Aquarius owners are "salty". Your post was not objective at all. For example, the fact that the Aquarius comes with 2 seasharks is a pro regardless of whether or not you care about them, but you blow that off by saying that you'd never use them anyway and you don't want them cluttering up your yacht as if they take up any space. You even admit that you never owned the Aquarius so your opinion of it is hardly valid.

 

I'm looking for an objective, impartial pros and cons list.

Seriousy, you get SuperVolito Carbon, Speeder, Toro, Dinghy, and four Seashark for free with every purchase of it. WAY better than the Pisces which only get you a Swift, Speeder, Dinghy, and two Seashark.

Pisces has speeder, so it wins with boats. Toro is crap.

 

Depends on your taste in helicopters, but the Pisces has the swift deluxe, the most expensive helicopter in the game. You can buy two other Volitos, you can't buy a white swift deluxe, or whatever other colors you choose. That gold one is ugly.

 

When you look out the windows of the bar or the bridge of the Aquarius, you realize you're inside a Pisces anyway.

 

The swift deluxe is not the gold $5 million dollar one..... and it has wheels
