In fairness, this thread has got out of hand a little bit. This thread is essentially 77 pages of people just going "yes", "no," "yes", "no".

I know it's pure speculation, but funmw2 has got a lot right, he's also got things completely wrong, a catastrophic team-up with that scamming guy damaged his reputation (and rightfully so) but he redeemed himself by doing what he did best by posting credible information.

 

I think a lot of people in this thread is missing the biggest point. There's a trailer (supposedly) and it seems as though funmw2 himself has seen it.

Now the issue is, is the trailer itself genuine? I do find it odd that Rockstar are sitting on it and it was accessible. It's not that I don't believe funmw2, but without knowing the source it's hard to fully trust something without seeing it for yourself.

 

I don't disbelieve this rumour but I don't fully believe it either. If it happens, it happens. Personally I'd love to go back to Liberty City.

And this whole Trailer thing too... What f*cking trailer? Why would they leave a trailer in some game files? Again a source probably bullsh*tted Fun and now he's f*cked.

Someone gave him information of what appears to be "V_DLC_Story" and we will "find out next week if its real or not". For the record, Fun's pic was named very similar to R*E's pics (Fun's was v_story_dlc and R*E's was named like v_story_dlc_tease or v_story_mode_dlc). I guess R*E could have just been copying what fun posted, but still interesting to think about.

This thread really is quite funny.

 

A leaker releases info about some code they find in GTA V, everyone decides that LC is coming to GTA V in the form of a single player DLC, now it's all fake and the leaker apparently lied to us and has no credibility?!

 

As always, unless Rockstar say something's happening, it ain't happening. What is found within the game files is largely meaningless in this respect unless you've got a season ticket to the GTA hype train.

I'm still on the fence myself about all this, but from your last few posts it's either that you want him to be wrong just so you can see him fall from grace, or you want him to be wrong, and that way you can tell yourself that if he is actually wrong you didn't get too hyped because you said so, but you actually got very hyped early when LC as a possible DLC was mentioned by him.

He has nothing to do with the screenshot and I don't recall him tweeting that LC was a definite DLC for GTA. Either there is a DLC or there isn't. There's a possibility.

I would love to see it. But I don't think so. The task would be enormous. They would have to reprogram everything to work with the new city. Pathing of the vehicles, where to spawn cars, police behavior. Then they would have to give us plenty of stuff to do in the city, so we actually have reasons to go there. And not just another 10 missions, it would have to be substantial to justify adding an entire new city.

 

But I would absolutely love it and would be willing to pay for it. I don't think it will happen though.

2. This font is just not right, don't ask me why... The format and stuff, it's not something Rockstar would use.
