Hell yes, can't wait. And the current gen textures of this game look too high quality to be just a "remastered" version of the last gen quality textures, the last gen textures are most likely downscaled versions of the current gen textures which R* originally worked with.

Also, why is Lowriders 2 even a thing? There should be no reason for that update to get a sequel. It's fine as it is, no one's craving for more overpriced lowriders or San Andreas wannabe gangster missions.

Dont like it, dont play it. I like low riders, i like the theme and i would enjoy the sequel. We've been getting nothing but high class suits and business dlc's for too long. Acting like Lowriders 2 is a waste idea is just being selfish, ignoring the fact there is a lot of people who requested the update in the first place, I'm pretty sure they would be happy with some more extra content related, like a possible Lowriders 2. If it doesn't pleases you, alright, its your opinion, but it's not the only one that counts.

Fun typically looks through code, and extracts relevent info from it. He's good at it, and his guesses as to what might be coming vs unused or cut content is pretty good. R* leave a ton of confusing code in their games and dlc's. Sifting through all that and deciding whats relevent and whats not must surely be tedious work.

 

The thing with this leak though is that fun is not following his usual M.O. As far as i can tell, there is no line of code or anything that hints to a LC dlc. Apparently he is getting his info from somebody else. Thats not typically how he does things. Im not sure if that makes this leak any less credible, but it might. That may be why he is being so cautious about his info this time.

 

I respect fun for what he does, and appreciate the stuff he reveals to us, but his recent behavior does bug me a bit. While i understand that he would want to protect his sources. I dont understand why he wont tell us exactly what he's heard or found. He could reveal what he knows, and still completely protect his source, but isnt. His failure to clarify things wouldn't come off so bad, if he hadn't demanded the same from dragoon a few weeks ago.

 

When dragoon revealed his leak a few weeks ago, he wouldn't reveal his files or exact methods, but he at least told us exactly what he found. Fun called BS on it for not sharing his files, and not clarifying himself further. Many of us here (including myself) went to bat for fun on that issue, only for him to be even more secretive and vague only a few weeks later.

 

Still hoping for the best though.

That's true, and maybe there is something to that. I just think that seeing as this isnt how fun usually goes about this perhaps explains why he's being cautious. I'm still not sure why he wont just tell us what he knows, or what he's heard though. He doesnt have to tell us who gave him the info, or even where he found whatever info he may jave found. I would just like to know what he's found out.

 

While I personally find fun to be reliable, there are many others here that obviously don't. I believe it would go a long way to improving his credibility if he just came out and said "This is what I've heard, and this is what I've found." rather than the vague tweets we've gotten so far.
