I personally think it has to relate to the LC mobile game, and I'm not sure if it's an actual expansion. If it is, I'm hyped. Just imagine the heists that could take place in LC?

 

Isn't there a museum that you can enter in GTA IV? That would be perfect for a heist, and won't ruin the continuity of GTA IV, because it's after the storyline. Maybe, have some side characters for the heists?

That would be fun actually, also since it's one of the financial hubs in the world, there's bound to be a bank we can rob.

 

However, I feel people will just want more and we would hear a lot of "Why can't you just add the entire city" if we were to just have a heist in a few select LC locations.

 

I just feel like people are never satisfied with what they're given, they'll always want more.

Finally, while it's not a priority addition for me and I would love to see other places, Liberty City would be a cool as f*ck addition to GTA Online, but you're basing this entire thread on false information, while fanning the flames of frauds.

 

1. I'm freaking sick of Liberty City. It was everything I hated about GTA IV; bland, flat, barely anywhere to go, barely anywhere to have fun, and everything was just so grey and... bleh. It all was a depressing mess to go with a depressing story and, I don't know about anyone else, but when I play a GTA game I don't want to feel depressed, I want to have fun and cause some havoc occasionally.

 

 

That's not at all backpedaling. I do get why you'd think that, but let us look at exactly what I said;

a) I'm sick of Liberty City and would like to see something else.

b) It's not something I would like, but Liberty City would be cool as an addition to the game.

 

If I had, instead, said I loved Liberty City, I always wanted to go back, it's the first place I want to go, or anything like that then yeah, backpedaling. But I didn't and it's not. I stand by my words and let me even elaborate a bit more;

 

I do not like Liberty City and would much rather see somewhere else instead. If it does come though, as a fan of GTA overall, I will gladly make the most of it, play it, and enjoy what I have and was gifted by Rockstar.

 

 

 

 

I wouldn't call Fun a liar, so much as he's a person who makes educated guesses based on the situation and previously found code from people who parse that PC code and update files.

This image can easily be created in IV, or its already out there. And there is a VERY similar one.

 

Well listen. My interpretation of reused (including his and my quote) is: Getting a already taken picture and putting a filter on it along with the Rockstar logo. Yes the image could be taken from IV. But i never implied it wasn't.

About picture you said that is VERY similar one. Yes they are similar but definitely not the same! And that is exactly what i meant about people proving the exact contrary.

 

RE: Who: People who fun himself has even referenced in said "leak" posts. Follow any of the PC discussion forums even on places like Se7en sins and Reddit to see users find new information and interesting things all the time.

 

RE: the Picture: It is certainly reused. It might look a bit different, but it's the same picture. If it's not the same picture, it is an extremely similar one. How does that raise a red flag for you? Why would they use, at best case scenario, an extremely similar picture? Rather than show off the upgraded and brand new Liberty City?

Remember when GTA V came out? The ads that showed the updates to locations? A lot like that.

Probably just back tracking, he more than likely had a spanking by Rockstar or realised he slipped up. Happens all the time in all industries. You can't employ hundreds of people and expect complete secrecy, information always has a way of getting out.

Yeah, I can already see the threads about how Rockstar is lazy. I would love more bank heists, because Pac Standard was meh in my opinion. Especially he gate away, I would expect something more organized.

Rockstar is not a random person claiming to hold information as fact. They are the company making the game and things happen. Delays happen. That's completely fine and excusable.

 

If Rockstar was, instead, a Twitter account and/ or a group of people, posting about having information for an upcoming game made from Bungie and showing self made, fabricated, content as proof it is coming at this time and then it doesn't happen, they are frauds.

Let me start by saying that if your goal with this comment was to assist me in proving my point, I seriously do thank you. Otherwise the rest of my reply also applies in response to you.

 

1. Parsing the code to find something. Thank you for proving my point. That's not leaking, that's finding information in a file and applying it as if it's something coming in the future. We also never got a contact named anything like that. We got new contacts, but it's reaching to say that it is applicable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the new contacts are also called something entirely different even in the code, so even in the context of using the word "leak" to mean what you think it means; still meant nothing.

 

2. Proving even more EXACTLY what I'm saying, showing the work of others unpacking the code of updates. How does that, at all go against what I'm saying.

 

3. Another final proof of my point, not leaking anything, just showing information people found in the code of updates. GUESSING that it's for future DLC.

The information given is not secret, it's in the code of the game and they are many times not the first to present it. They are also most certainly not informants as they are not, in any way shape or form, in the know of what's happening.

Oy vey. Merriam Webster defines "leak" as:

 

"to give (secret information) to someone so that it becomes known to the public"

 

Now, let us look deeper... Merriam Webster also defines "information" as:

 

"knowledge that you get about someone or something : facts or details about a subject"

 

And, while I've got the entire f*cking dictionary at my fingertips, Merriam Webster defines "facts" as:

 

"a true piece of information"

 

So, yes. In order for a "leak" to be considered a leak, it needs to provide "true pieces of information". Or be accurate...

OK, so first part; If the information is true, but the time table isn't right, then yes they are a fraud -HOLD- because they presented it as fact, with fabricated evidence that it is in fact coming during their time table. I would also add that their fabricated evidence at that point would never be seen in this, and instead of admitting to it, instead will say something like "Well... Obviously this multi-BILLION dollar company changed sh*t around on me to make me look bad, lol."

 

They didn't.

 

 

They key reason I've upgraded to calling them in particular a fraud is because they are presenting fabricated evidence as truthful and baiting people into following them and believing them. If they left it at guessing, then they would be a guesser and juts giving out guesses.

I think he said that he got it from somebody who knew about the Executives update 3-5 months prior to its release.Not 100% sure.
