I would love if Rockstar added Liberty City to GTAV. I also would absolutely LOVE if they brought back bowling and made it so we can play online with friends. That would be way more fun than f**king "Arm wrestling." Who was the idiot that thought triggering a loading screen to arm wrestle another player would be fun?!

Nothing. I see no reason why Liberty City HAS to be announced tomorrow. It will likely come.. but it doesn't NEED to be announced tomorrow in order for it to exist. I'm doubtful we'll see anything about it for a while. We're more likely to see something about that Bahama Mamas nightclub and the comedy club before we see Liberty city.

 

 

Tomorrow might be something related to new years along with that dropzone game mode.

This could have been a great thread, without all the hating and flaming. I understand that moderators can't keep up with a thread like this, but i sure hope they could. All that pickering, calling names, weak ass attacks against YouTubers.

I still don't believe that we will get the LC, i don't watch YouTube videos, but can't see a reason to hate them, either?

And lastly, flying a couple of YouTubers to see new stuff could well be R* way. They have always been masters of marketing, they have always been making maximum exposure for minimum costs. Guerrilla marketing had been in their toolbox before it was a term.

 

All of these, and million others, would have been interesting topics. But no, you just had to turn this into f*cking sh*tfest for reasons i can't get.

There are a lot of firsts happening with this iteration of GTA.

 

This could be another one.

 

I sure hope so.

It's not impossible just highly unlikely. I've been very impressed with R* with the last two big updates however I just can't see something this massive coming to GTA Online.

As far as I'm aware New Years Eve is a regular work day, tomorrow is the last hope to hear anything about LC.

When does newswire usually get updated ?

You do realize you still need GFWL for GTA IV on PC, right?

 

Back in the day, you needed both GFWL and a very old version of the Rockstar Social Club... Via patches, the only thing you can get rid of is the SC(which is good, because all of its links have been dead for a while).

 

Source: Me, installing GTA IV last month.And I'm pretty sure it wasn't 2009.

There is going to be a seamless transition from GTA 5 to GTA 6. The update schedule is:

 

Liberty City early 2016 - Including a new singleplayer storyline and a vast amount of multiplayer content

 

Las Venturas late 2016 - Also including a new singleplayer story line, featuring (one of?) the main character(s) of GTA 6 for the first time and (obviously) Casinos.

 

There are further plans for something >big< for GTA 5 in 2017 right before GTA 6 is released which is set in modern time Vice City. GTA 6 will feature all Cities released to that point with massively improved visuals as they port all the old stuff to an improved version of their engine.

 

All of that will happen to GTAO which will get >a lot< of more level based unlocks like the ability to run enterprises, including drug trade between cities and similar criminal activities (Casinos were mentioned here as well). This is supposed to be "bigger" than heists and will be introduced with the "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity!" update (~January-February 2016).

 

The trailer was supposed to be released this week but might be postponed to next year.

We hope all of this happens!
