What I'm wondering is if this is true what reason would the crew have in LC?

 

The only thing that comes to mind is that Franklin goes there to do a few heists or the Meryweather's leader goes after the crew because the got his army to stop working in the US soil which makes them hide in LC.

Frank has cousin there... Trevor could expand his drug empire, killing what has left from Losts and teaming up with Angels. As for the Michael... I don't know... Maybe the magic that he saw in the movies? Maybe he want to retire...

 

For Trevor the drug empire thing makes sense but when it comes to the Lost there is nothing about it.The Lost are also located in East LS so how come he didn't go after them there aswell?

I too would prefer a new location, However, that is bound to happen in the future but it obvious its not going to happen anytime soon. LC is the most realistic approach. making a new map as a DLC would be a loss of profit when you add the total up.

Judging from how the majority of the votes say yes then yeah.It isn't just about a boring old map, its about making GTAO a bigger and more expanded game.

If that's not fake, then R* can keep it. Graphically, that skyline in that pic is ugly AF by today's standards... It looks like an indie game.

Not trying to move off topic but GTA 6 would be great if set in Liberty City, if not all the cities... There's so much different since 2008, like the New World Trade Centre, most notably, probably many new constructions too, not a New Yorker, or American myself, that's why I don't have the knowledge but it'd be great. It's a realistic approach and if they could add on the smaller areas of NY State, that'd be awesome, I heard there's smaller areas north of Manhattan (Upstate?)

 

Yes, Vice City would be a great comeback but I'm tired of the warm, sandy places, lets go back to a once, dark and gritty place like LC. I love that style and blocky closed in cities. I personally think LS and VC are both too open and both carry the same theme of hot weather and sandy beaches, it'll need a change!

 

I don't mind if VC is the next city but I'd prefer LC or all the cities so we could revisit our favourite one.

Would liked it more than liberty city but still thankful that we might be getting something. LC is probably my least favorite city out of all of them!

after all, Fun never said "100% sure this week R* would confirm LC"

 

from his tweet all i get is that, just like us, he's probably waitinf for the source to provide some proof.

Doubt we are going to see LC as a main location for a new game, just doesn't make sense.Only way it can be added is a DLC.

 

However I sure would love to see VC in the next game.

Not as a standalone my bad, meant as a dlc. I chose LV because I always liked LV as my second fave city (LS is 1st). Also because blaine county is seriously lacking a big desert and thought with the addition with LV it would fix it. I can imagine taking a long road trip from LS to LV while slowly seeing LV on the horizon.

Agreed, LV is the perfect setting imo, they've spent countless upgrades making our characters rise from petty street thugs to high class criminals, and nothing screams organised crime to me like the neon of Las Vegas.

Not impossible but they'd have to develop the map on a different engine and different universe, so HD, where the original was 3D, so that'd take some time but who knows, they might be working on something like that as we speak..?!

I would f*cking love Las Vegas. Lived in Henderson for 6 months, nothing beats passing through Paradise, NV at dusk.

If there's a Casino DLC, of course they have to bring LV over, who doesn't like driving down the Strip, looking at them lights?! - of course they'd have to develop a HD map but R* can do that fine, I don't care if we have to wait a year or two - LV is one of my faves.
