Okay, kiddies. If any of you actually believe this is real I am lol'ing harder than I have ever lol'd before. That picture looks FAKE as sh*t. One can easily photoshop it and use mods to achieve it. You're sitting there telling me "we NSA'd this picture and we can confirm it is real". What the hell is your proof? You want it to be real so you'll find or say anything to "confirm" it. When the truth is, who are you to confirm anything?

 

Second, why are we even waiting for some sort of announcement? You do realize that R* isn't going to announce sh*t this week of all weeks. Why? Most of them - at least the marketing/PR people - are probably on holidays. The most we had is some screens R* released on the Newswire on Dec 24th in 2012 when GTAV was in active marketing/pre-release.

 

Third, this same "leaker" of yours who you hold in such high regard has had numerous times where he was proven wrong. Most of the leaks he does get for GTAO are from the game files because hurrrr it's being developed and thus in the game files/introduced into the game files in patches. Anyone can do that, he isn't special for looking into game files.

 

This is clearly LC from IV photoshopped or LC in V modded in. This is precisely why most of the picture isn't visible. It isn't to tease you, it's to deceive you. When nothing comes, he can easily turn around and say "hmmm must have been delayed". Or simply not mention it again. It's happened before with countless other "leakers".

They want us to be civil. Lets be civil.

 

1) I agree with you here, that this could be easily faked and what i really think is that the Two picture that are compared are somewhat similar but one of them is compressed and blurry therefore its hard to compare. but that doesn't mean i dont want this DLC.

 

2) From what i have gathered on this thread is that, the source is some how linked to rockstar and is very reliable according to fun because he knew about E&OC way before Dragoon did, meaning that he has to have some kind of link to Rockstar, since dragoon found them files on the rockstar server and not in the game file. Im going to stick with this until Fun says if he is or isnt connected to rockstar (which will make me doubt a lot about this DLC if he isnt)

 

3) i sort of agree that A leaker reads files, makes predictions and finds beta content, nothing special that is why he made some wrong mistakes. but he has made more right predictions than wrong and that is a FACT. which may lead people to trust him. However, This isn't Fun'z Leak and he doesn't deserve the responsibility of this leak. He is unsure himself, therefore he doesn't need criticism from people that think its fake.

 

at the end of the day its rockstar that decide what things are coming to GTA V, not any leaker. Its Rockstar that decide if LC is coming, and if his source has a connection to rockstar then that might just prove the LC DLC.

Liberty City was the last GTA city. Rockstar said that they wouldn't be visiting LC for quite some time after IV. All the evidence we have towards it being announced this week is a sh*tty, grainy picture, "supposedly" from a trailer. From the picture, we see: darker graphics which give more sharpness to the features of the nearby structures; a different tide level( that somehow screams "NEW DLC!!!1!!1!1!1"). The only word we've heard about this from Rockstar was proved to be a troll account. Brian B. actually being even considered as a "source" for a nonexistent DLC.

I have to get into this for a sec. What in the flying f*ck are you talking about? Have you seen the graphical fidelity and map size of other games on next gen consoles? Some games, like Just Cause 3, have incredibly detailed graphics and in Just Cause 3s case, a map 5x bigger than Los Santos. There are very few limits that GTA V has currently, as the next generation consoles have plenty of RAM, Hard drive space, and a good processor. The only thing that limits Xbox One, PC, and PS4 is network limitations, which that usually applies to very few things.

Rockstar normally release trailers for DLC on Thursdays. Look at the release dates for the Executives and lowriders DLC trailers, which are both on Thursdays at around 4PM GMT (GMT because Rockstar North is located in scotland)

Liberty City wouldn't have seperate servers. Both maps would have to be loaded, at least the inactive one would have to be running in the background for when people wanted to travel in between them.

Im seeing an abundance of hypocrisy here. Telling me that I'm clenching straws to believe this is true with my mind and soul, yet I haven't seen a peep from anyone besides saying that LC would be impossible on V, when it really wouldn't, spouting fake on every corner, and giving half-assed reasons for why the leaked pic is a middle version, while ignoring everything we've put on the table.

For all we know, NGClan, Rockstar could've started work on this in 2013. It's not that hard to port a city, and I'm sure you know this sh*t, seeing as you're a modder. Even if it wasn't the easiest, they've had two years to get their sh*t together.

They're game developers, it's not like it's the hardest thing in the world.

From what I've heard SP DLC is planned from 2012.

LC is part of SP DLC.

According to my source, SP DLC can be classified as a new game.

Even coding from 1.13/1.14 updates prove that it will be massive.

It has enough problems loading the SAME MAP(that is even DOWNGRADED FOR ONLINE), from SP to Online.just imagine what would happen if it had to load TWO maps. Liberty City wouldn't have seperate servers. Both maps would have to be loaded, at least the inactive one would have to be running in the background for when people wanted to travel in between them.

You must have a really sh*tty system if you're having trouble loading the game's map. Youre obviosuly in the minority in terms of that.

V can handle LS perfectly fine, btw. It works great, especially with a lot of activity going on. You know, traffic, peds, textures, loads of sh*t. It seems to me like you're just grabbing onto any reason you can find to "prove" this is a fake. Do you know what Next Gen consolidate for? There are games with FAR most content then V, yet they still run well.

How would that have any impact on LC being added to the game? It wouldn't, as both maps would be loaded separately and there would more than likely be other servers specifically for LC. The game itself would be fine, and I doubt there would be any increase in lag or desycns.

I do have to note that Fun mentioned that R* is working on changes with the way the map loads, its something he mentioned long before this LC rumour started. Also its been explained how it could be made to work previously multiple times so no idea why we are returning to this topic when it has been cleared.

You're grasping to any reason you can BS to "prove" that this is real. See how that works? So we have to prove why it's a fake but you don't have to prove why it's real when the onus should be on you to provide that proof. Yet no where do I see any valid proof aside from "I BELIEVE". Because you have not put anything to the table that is even remotely valid or backed up. It's all your own bias and opinion. You're the one trying to prove that this leak is real so the onus is on you to prove it. Not on us to disprove it; which we have. I haven't seen a single valid or logical argument to back up your opinion.

 

Also, my point entirely flew over your head. I never stated LC would overload V. What I said was you must have a game development degree since you're sitting there spouting off about it when the reality is you've no idea either and are just saying "well, game x can do it so therefore...". You've no idea what goes into the development of V. That is all I was saying.

 

Seriously, that picture is nothing to go off of. I can sit here, load up IV (or LC modded into V) if I had it installed, take a random screen, open up photoshop and produce the same picture to then go post and watch people like you make something out of nothing.
