I wouldn't call Fun a liar, so much as he's a person who makes educated guesses based on the situation and previously found code from people who parse that PC code and update files.

What you mean by reused? Any proof? Because if i remember right, there are a few posts back proving the exact contrary.

 

You really think an update trailer or whatever would include a nearly identical shot of (I believe it's) Dukes? Hell no, it would start with the city. We've also never seen RockStar use such a filter before. All GTA Online update teasers have been pretty straight forward.

And again. Poor arguments that you take as a fact. Remember when the Executive dlc was leaked? People said "There is no way Rockstar would ever use a google picture". Same rubbish logic.

This thread seems to be imploding on itself and I see the exact same situation flare up every major rumor (which crappy YouTube people love to capitalize ...on and perhaps maybe even start).

 

1. Things are added and removed all the time during game development, especially with AAA titles. It's entirely possible that DJ misspoke (safely assuming he isn't aware of the correct gaming terminology) and meant to say Los Santos or a Liberty City radio station. GTA V had that update for new Radio Stations and his song/ station might not have made the cut into the final game or maybe is coming in a future update.

 

2. Am I really seeing this correctly? Someone put on Twitter a fake picture about a GTA IV reveal and is now claiming that is a leak? If you believe that, please, please take a step back and educate yourself on who you are holding up as some kind of legitimate news source. There have only been one or two exceptions where we have legitimately gotten a real leak, with the last major one being the Executives and Other Criminals update (yachts) and even THAT wasn't everything as the VIP system was never mentioned at all. Every time that happens you can also see full screen shots from the ALPHA testing of updates.

 

3. You have a low resolution, reused picture and it is being touted as the smoking gun to LC. Then on top of that, people are covering their ass by saying "Wait a week and see, if it's not real, it's because it will come later." W... what?! I love speculating, but that's a joke and is entirely manipulating their followers. Funmw2 is a complete joke of a source, never once having leaked anything real. They scattershot educated guesses, some stick, most do not. At no point however are they leaking anything, just throwing sh*t at a wall while their followers go nuts over the ones that show as (mostly) correct, then conveniently ignoring the deleted posts of ones that were totally wrong. Most recently being that we WILL get the Tampa, Festive DLC masks, etc, that never showed up because the other safe assumptions from people were that these were coming Christmas day as a gift and/ or exclusively in additional game modes.

 

Liberty City may very well come in a future update, but this thread is built entirely around total horsesh*t and terrible people leading on kids and the gullible with false and misinformation.

I actually agree with some of this.

 

You guys go insane, Fun (this is where I dont fully agree) provides information based on whatever it is he finds. But very few of you actually listen to him in regards to him saying 'this could be fake' or simular statements. You take any post he makes and flash it around like its the holy trinity.

 

What Fun provides is speculative entertainment, some of which emerges to be actual leaks where some and I'd aurgue most don't.

If (IF) LC is coming I'd have to assume it would be a paid DLC. That would be a HUGE expansion to give out for nothing.

I copy/pasta'd this from [virtually] the exact same thread last year (except it was regarding pre-Christmas heists and another "leaker" that just so happened to be affiliated with a "leaker" that keeps coming up in this thread) and changed the names of the leaker(s) in question to "leakers":

The dude read some files and made some guesses. That's all any "leaker" does. They don't KNOW anything. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they aren't. Just like a broken clock (as a wise man pointed out earlier in this thread).

...Someone that worked at R* and had access to the code and understood fully how to read it, and had access to R* scheduled release dates and actual insider information from inside R* and was leaking information; that person would be legit. These dudes are just guessing.

Publishing accurate information that's not meant to be seen is known as leaking. Again, if you leak info that's wrong, your "leak" is useless. You make a good point about scientists and "educated guesses", but [leakers are] far, far from scientist. The sh*t at a wall reference was indicating that no matter how good or bad he is at whatever it is that he does, he's bound to get something right. You throw enough darts, you'll hit the board eventually.

We would love to see this as an addition. In order to travel there though you would either have to own a larger plane/jet or have to buy a plane ticket. Would finally give us a reason to own a big plane. Have to takeoff from the airport and fly to a mark on the map that takes us to Liberty City or vice versa. Once in LC you would have to land the plane and will have a car waiting for you there. You could own properties in both and be able to pick what city you spawn in. Just my $0.02

They did something similar in GTA SA when you had to fly by plane to saint mark's bistro. and when you return you had to land the plane on the runway. it would be a nice nudge to GTA SA if they did something like that for GTA V but clearly more developed. Also When Trevor came back from North Yankton same thing happened, so i expect them to have a loading screen when you fly far from LS to go to LC. and when you arrive they will tell you to land at FIA in LC

 

I would like for them to allow us to go by our yacht and pay lets say 200k to go there and show the same cutscene when moving your heists for 25k but this time arriving in LC or buy a plane ticket

The Bahama Mamas East and West can be introduced too in this DLC. didn't someone find some Dance files in the script recently
