Stuff generally gets announced on Thursday and released on Tuesday. For this, that is unlikely as it's (probably according to our Lord and Saviour) paid DLC so a bit more time is likely to be between announcement and release as they want to generate more sales.

Fun has a rep in the GTA community for vein legit.

 

I hear that a lot about the guy but I'm also part of the GTA community, I joined the forum this year but I've been lurking for ages, and he's like the weather man of "leaked gta info" to me, sometimes he's right, sometimes he isn't and if he's making a claim that's too good to be true, I gonna be skeptical as hell - and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way about him.

 

Let me put it this way; If I'm wrong and everything he said is true, I'll fell a little embarrassed for a bit... but then I'll get to play an awesome DLC/standalone or whatever - if I'm right and it's a big joke then no harm done, life goes on business as usual, etc. I suspected it anyway.

If you're right.. then you'll get to play an awesome DLC/standalone or whatever - if you're wrong then you've posted for pages and pages defending and promoting someone who deliberately made a fool of you just for his amusement, someone who got in your head and emotionally manipulated you for "the lulz". You asked before why someone would do that? That's why - putting a lie out there and having people not only believe it, but have them promote the lie and expand upon it, while championing and defending the liar is a very good reason for some people to do something like that, they're exerting a form of power over you.

 

That's why you have to be very guarded when it comes to things that come from the internet.

Actually, Fun's been leaking since V came out. He's been right about the majority of his leaks. Most of what didn't come true state by him was more than likely brushed off.

The funmw2 hate in the last few pages is nothing but laughable. Where have you fools been in the last two years regarding fun's leaks which were accurate?

There is a huge difference between extracting code from the game and interpreting it in terms of future DLC (he can be wrong, but its ok), and claiming to have an insider source at R*.

The latter is ridículous, and no one with a bit of common sense is going to Believe it.

He said this week will prove whether or not the info he has found is 'legit or fake'. That does not mean a Newswire post, that does not mean a trailer and that certainly does not mean it is coming out this week.

 

I'm not ruling it out that an announcement could come, however it's highly unlikely. It's more likely that they may release a secret hotfix or something of that sort that Funmw2 will dig into. Just don't start pointing fingers when there's no Newswire post, all I'm saying

If they are working on it since 2012 as fun says, well they can manage to do lots of things. Let's just think about it.. The base map is already done, so they saved many months of work. All they have to do is to tweak it and modify it a bit to make it look like V and it is pretty much done. They can use the rest of the time for missions, adding new areas, interiors, radios, vehicles, etc.. Hell, in 4 years of development they could even add Yankton ( only my thoughts)

A man liberty city is the best and most alive urban enviornment in all of video gaming so please make a return. Some people are really tired of the whole high gloss look of Los santos and want a return to a densely packed urban metropolis. Ill tell you what, id move all my sh*t to liberty so f*cking fast. Id only return to vacation in chumash or Del Perro.

Fun revealed more info on the DLC. Apparently the DLc has been worked on since 2012, and Fun said it should be "massive".

 

A source code in 2014 said one of the DLCS has 23 missions.

 

And there may be two DLCs.

I actually agree with that. He's a leaker. He gets some wrong, he get some right. I doubt it was his intention to mislead anyone. A lot of people here took his word and ran with it despite there being no definitive proof of any sort aside from the "word" of his "secret source". And any time that anyone pointed that out or insulted his "rep", the Fun Defense Force went after them with fangs bared. Y'all should start a cult or something.

If anything, Fun's source is of more importance now.
