Just want to say that the big dude from IGN with the glasses (cant remember his name) hinted that LC was coming during one of those round table discussions. Something like 'dont be surprised if we see LC again this gen'.

Honestly I rather have them go to las Ventura's first before Liberty city or better yet a casino heist in los Santos casino...or allow it to actually be open!

LS doesn't have a soul, its a empty place without any atmosphere, even if its full with retarded AI.

I agree. To me, LS doesn't have a vibe. It looks like LA, but it does not feel like LA. I think it's something with the game's art direction, it doesn't feel sun soaked enough. The streets are too clean and the traffic is laughably minuscule. It just feels like an artificial world to look at with no soul, even though it's rich with detail and is handcrafted at Rockstar's highest standards.

 

The countryside in the game sucks ass though.

All I can say is that it's either Cached for some people which explains why some can still access it if they visited before it was "removed", or there may be a problem with the redirection to the page.

 

I don't really know the answer as I don't use Facebook at all (Twitter is more for me as you don't need a personal account to setup a page)

Back around 2011 this person added various actual Rockstar employees on Facebook. Given his friend's list back then, it seemed pretty real and is when and where it gained traction. It died off a few years ago but seems like it resurfaces every now and then.

 

It is NOT the Gary Foreman that formerly worked at Rockstar.

can we speculate what is the reason why Rockstar would chose to continue the storyline in Liberty instead of just expand with Los Santos

 

seems kind of backwardish in a little away

 

i assume LC in GTA V would have less detail than LS and probably less diversity and again a smaller map

 

Not so much to make perfect sense in terms of the narrative; but instead to follow up on their plans to grow GTAO into an actual world.

 

First step, and the easiest, would be to re-use Liberty City assets. HD, same engine, same generation, etc. In turn that would cause a tidal wave of expectations, hype, and revenue.

 

In the meantime after LC drops, they could start working on areas that are actually brand new, or from previous generations.
