So, let me get this straight... If it drops next week, he was right. And if it doesn't drop next week, he was still right, but R* pushed it back because they give AF about some random tweeter on the interwebz. Got it.

You have no idea how this works right? So please... just stop already.

 

And to your info: The PC Version of LC could be ported without any changes and still look okay. Granted, some parts need overhauling and such, but the textures and modelling would work. Also bear in mind that most game developers have a higher quality textures and stuff than in final releases. Do you think game devs took their time and remade all textures for current gen remasters? Yeeeea no.

You know about as much as I do, but I've got logic on my side. When you've got a next-gen remaster, there's nothing to compare it to... The Last of Us, Tomb Raider... There's no benchmark on next-gen. GTA IV had a little sequel called GTA V in which R* kinda stepped their game up. A next-gen port of LC would still look bad because the last-gen version looked less-than-stellar when put next to LS.

 

No matter. According to the Twitter gods, we'll see the fruition of R*'s porting labor when Liberty City is released next week. And it shall be glorious. Surely R* is going to release something THIS big immediately after the Executives, and a few days after Christmas when a pre-Christmas announcement would have boosted GTA sales through the holidays. Makes perfect sense. God, this absolutely reeks of the Nillxmodz bullsh*t from this time last year.

Ugh I don't want a remaster of GTAIV, I want a map expansion for GTAOnline. This will seriously suck if it's just GTAIV remastered... that's a game that's so damn ugly, nothing will fix it now. The gunplay is terribly bad... the driving is bad... ugh i'm so done with that game.

 

 

Crossing my fingers for a Liberty City expansion to GTAOnline. With updated visuals, all the stores from Los Santos (or variations of them), and the ability to easily travel between both cities.

It would make even more money if it was a paid DLC for GTAO rather than a remaster.
