Hackers abound since new update

Gonna be that good forum member and tell you that they're not going away no time soon unless rockstar adds stronger anti cheat system. My suggestion to you is play on consoles or do pvp missions and events.

Just come out of a lobby where a modder turned me into a christmas tree and donated to my Yacht's cruising fund. Spawned a load of green haired clones of me in my hot tub and then teleported everyone up Chiliad and gave us all Sanchezes and parachutes so we could parachute back to my yacht at Paleto.

The new hacks are dll files and they use an injector to get it in gta v, its supposedly harder to detect

I feel your pain because MOST modders are annoying as f&@%...but lets be honest here, PC well always have modders...only reason I would buy GTA for PC is if it was for story mode or if I was going to stay in invite only.

Nope, situation as normal on PC, hackers abound as usual.

 

Last week I was doing a race on the Horse track, you know the one, with offroad vehicles, now I was on a Sanchez, the fastest offroad there is, I didn't fall off, I didn't get smushed, and yet I (and everyone else in the race) got lapped 4 times by an strangely fast Insurgent, one lap it even indicated that I was lapped, before he actually passed me.

 

Few days ago I was in a public lobby because you need to be in one to be able to do the time trails, I finished it, decided to try a different route with a different vehicle, noticed a King of the Castle mission had started in the Cable Car station nearby, and only one guy was there, so I thought let's have a little fun for once, so this guy and me are fighting over the place, 3rd player arrives, more competition I thought, fun.......and then my weapons disappeared all of a sudden, the 3rd player turned himself into a Christmas tree, started punching the other guy I was originally fighting with, who in the mean time had started yelling at him to give his guns back, and then started spawning money bags from everyone, apparently he thought because we were nearing Christmas he should be generous, I yelled at him as well (I have little tolerance for such folk) and left the session, because f*ck that guy and his hacked money.

 

Today, it dumped me in a public session after I returned to freemode after a race, instead of putting me back into the Invite Only session where I started, in that lobby there was a discussion going on, apparently a hacker had spawned a chrome indestructible helicopter on some other guy, over and over, so the guy eventually gave up and started flying it, other people were angry because he was blowing them up and they couldn't kill him or something like that, he claimed that because he was not responsible for the helicopter, and the hacker wouldn't leave him alone till he got in and started flying it, he could not be held responsible and was not as bad as everyone made him out to be, I told him to dump the chopper in the ocean so that no one would be able to use it, he of course disagreed, surprise surprise, but he left soon after anyway.

10 minutes later an other cheater appeared and just as with you started spawning stuff on everyone, I left for an other session at that point.

 

Not that that session was any better, well it was at first, I did the upside down flying challenge, got second place, and not long after that ended, a Hot Briefcase mission started nearby, I was the first there, grabbed, saw a red dot getting closer and raced for nearby Paleto Bay, the guy was on a motorcycle, was in a Injection, he started shooting me up, I used my Machine Pistol (TEC 9) on him, obviously he didn't expect that much opposition, he backed off, or so I thought, when I suddenly exploded, yep and other hacker.

 

Plus all of these sessions were full of annoying people begging for money in chat, asking for hackers to give them money, ugh.

 

As you can see this is pretty standard for PC, it's because of Rockstar's stupidity we are stuck with it's stupid Peer to Peer system which allows rampant hacking to take place, it's nothing new, there's nothing we can do about it, the best way to deal with this is just to stay in Invite Only sessions.

 

Also if on PC and you want to take screenshots, either use the utility on your ingame phone, or, if you use Steam, you can hit F12 to take a screenshot, the quality will be much better.

I am cursing the day when I transfered my character from PS3 to PC. Should have transfered to PS4.

Dumb cheaters.

 

The best way to deal with it is :

 

1. Playing in Invite Only sessions (but that ONLY makes sense if you have friends or a bigger crew to play with) or even better...

 

2. Having a Mod menu like myself and using it only for good purposes, like crashing the game for anyone that hacks/cheats (NOTHING ELSE, I don˙t even drop money to anybody, especially those dumb money beggars)! Works every time

Is there such a thing as an Anti-Hacker, Hacker in GTAO?

 

Something like the hacking group 'Anonymous' does with corrupt organisations.

 

Basically a 'Super-Hacker' who can hunt down and destroy the other ones.

 

I detest Online Hackers/Modders, but I would be sympathetic towards a Hacker who made it his/her mission to completely obliterate the software of your average cheat.

 

The whole hog: cancelled, unrecoverable game accounts, removal of software, viruses, malware, that kind of thing.

This is a little off topic, but what is up with all the people trying to make their character look like the Joker lately? It seems like it started maybe a week or two ago...before that, I never saw anyone like that, but then it changed practically overnight. Now just about everywhere I look everyone has green hair, purple suits and that stupid facepaint or whatever that looks like the Joker. This seems to have become a new favorite look for troll players too, so I'm not surprised your hacker was sporting the same look.

all cheats have been updated 2 days ago, jordan, infamous, bhm, ni**er, menyoo, the force, mod n0beit, etc ...

evil options have almost all (crash, freeze, remove weapons, Atach object, etc ..)

I've been counting the downloads and already are 75 000 only in a site

+ - 100.000 downloads = 100,000 cheaters playing gtao *only on mpgh*
