It's basically a marksman pistol with faster reload. You can get a one shot kill against NPCs or low level players.

^^ you would think a armored expensive car would offer more protection huh? I love the new revolver. Two shot on the rocker panel right by the drivers door will make any vehicle pop like a grape.

Through the side, or the front? I've seen someone mention that the glass in the new armored cars withstands 4 heavy sniper shots.

I have a couple of armour tests for this weapon anyway (shooting different vehicles with it and counting the shots), but I don't know if posting a link to it would break any rules/count as promoting my own thread. It's there if anyone's curious anyway, and I might add more vehicles to its list.

Yes, you can use the revolver whilst inside an armoured Kuruma.

 

However, sometimes it takes two shots to kill an NPC. I own the marksman pistol and the musket and they're great one-shot kills...just as long as you have great cover.

It takes me two shots to kill the AI with it, one shot to the torso isn't enough. I think it took three limb shots to kill someone before, doesn't feel all that crazy powerful to me.

In this application, I wonder which is better between it and the Marksman Pistol. More oomph, but longer delay on the marksman? Wondering how they compare in practice.

I was amazed at how powerful this thing is against vehicles. Me and a friend went around on a Seashark in Signal heist setup blowing up cop boats all over the place. Its a two shot against NPCs most of the time for me though.

the main issue is rockstar did not do a good job balancing out statistics in the game.. from NPC health like taking 50 shots to die.. then to blowing up a heli with 4 revolver shots.. it all makes 0 sense and rockstar did a sh*tty f*cking job on V. GTA 4 nailed the nail on the head.. if only GTA V had GTA 4's death system and npc health we would all be dandy!

Having used it a bit more I actually think it needs a buff, a solid shot to the upper chest should be able to kill any enemy. For limb shots, two bullets would be reasonable.
