I think this deserves a topic.

Unfortunately, just after a few days, mod menus, cargoplane wrecks in the city and other scumbag accessories made their comeback in the city.

Rockstar isn't fast enough to hotfix the issue, so let's limit the damage to gameplay experience by ourselves.

We report hacks here and ways to deal with them.

1. Check ranks of players in the lobby. Rank 700+ players are suspicious.

2. Best way to get rid of cheaters is to switch session by main menu. It's advised to do immediately, when you see human model spawning en masse above you, as it will overload your graphic card and crash the game.

3. Yacht disappear with "you have no access to this property as you have given it as payment". Not permanent. Just switch the session, the yacht will reappear.

4. Your rank switch randomly. Not permanent. Switch the lobby.

Ranking is not a good way to determine who is a cheater or not (unless they are level 8000, then it is quite obvious) because there are a lot of players with legit 700+ characters and there are even players with legit 1000+ characters.

And if you have not noticed yet, Rockstar has all but quit doing anything to and about the cheaters. A couple of months ago they shut the banhammer email down and are now automatically closing (and in some cases deleting) any and all cheater report support tickets and now only want us to report them through the in game reporting system which you pretty much everyone else in the session to report them multiple times before Rockstar does anything. It also makes it impossible to report the youtubers who post videos of themselves cheating and showing how to do the exploits/glitches.

Rank 700+ player are suspicious? Dafuk?

Theres a ton of 700+ ranked players out there. It has nothing to do with anything besides playing alot and winning alot.

I saw one 'StonedHacker' and his k/d was worse than my first character, and his rank not that high. He probably has 500 mil tho.

This has been tried before, it won't work due to all the factors required to prove a modder/cheater.

The only thing that works is to use the game tools, frustrating as it is.

If you see someone over 300 and has a squeaker's voice he's either a genius or a modder. That's how I see it

Some parents are lax about getting children to do lessons, so day and night play by an underage player would surely get a legit 300. A lot of modders seem to be squeakers. They can't all be girls, one is tho (eg BettyTheBomber).

Step 1. Purchase an Xbox One or Playstation 4...

Look, honestly. I love PC gaming, I really do, but all I ever hear about GTA V on PC is how multiplayer is unplayable with modders and script users ruining everyone else's experience.

Seen this happen to someone, but having a $300 GPU makes your game immune to such trolls

That's because people are whiny bitches, not because there's anything wrong with PC.

That's all online play, all on PC. I really wish people would stop crying about it, it really is not a big deal.

But eventually Rockstar will catch up to those with modded money and wipe it, along with a chunk of your legit earned.

I like modders they give money. I never report them.

giving or receiving modded cash is just about the only thing rockstar bans any one for. From what i understand their "anti cheat" system doesn't even look for mods or what is happening in any given lobby. All it looks for is modded cash being spawned into the game and who is taking it. Supposedly people that take it get flagged and when the ban waves come a few random people are banned. Rockstar doesn't want to ban 90% of the turds / cheaters like yourself who make up their customer base.

It doesn't.

It buys you a few more seconds to switch lobby.

I'd rather keep modders as a whole than get rid of them, all the money has made the game so fun.

Playing the same missions over and over again is boring and the shark cards are expensive. I've spent like $150 on shark cards so yea I have paid my dues to rockstar. I know plenty of people who have taken modded money and weren't banned infact Rockstar said they won't ban those for receiving money they only ban those who give it.

You are misinformed, having even a 980Ti won't stop the better crash scripts from overloading your game and crashing it, the GPU isn't the only factor.

If you have a decent system you will normally have time to quit to single player which will dump the clones because you change player model, then you can return to online.

So you like the players who are to blame for the game being in as rough shape as it is? Every time they cheat and players like you take part in it, Rockstar has to patch the exploits and the majority of the time the fixes Rockstar puts into place end up affecting the legit, non-cheating players and Rockstar usually also ends up breaking other stuff when patching the exploits as well.

Like I said I don't take modded money but I enjoy everyone not being broke because people would stop playing if they were. Playing roof top rumble 200 times to make money is just boring and pointless.

Most of the modders I've met are pretty chill. They mess with you if you laugh about it they usually leave you alone. If you bitch then they will f*ck your world. Lastnight I met one who was spawning clowns on my helicopter I just laughed over voice chat and he stopped.

No, they're not. If you said over 1000-1200, I'd agree, but there are plenty of 600-800's running around totally legit, myself included.

It's to be expected on last gen and PC. Doesn't matter who the developer is, as soon as one menu is pacthed, another one will appear.

The game has been out for over 2 years. Rank 700 and over is entirely feasible.

It's people like you that ruin things for us high ranks by spamming us with unwanted friend requests, asking us to give them money, asking if we're a modder, flase reporting etc etc. Unless someone does something to you that makes it obvious they are a cheater of some sort, leave us high ranks alone!

Ok, 1000+ is obviously hacked.

Go for about 2000+ and you maybe onto something

I know a few for 1000+ players. And they don't give sh*t about levels...

Exactly...over 1000 can raise a suspicion, but it's not cut and dry either. The game has been out for 26 months now, so there are bound to be legit players who have earned that ranking.

This topic is meant to report known hacks and how to deal with them, anyway.

Go for it, if you want to contribute.
