If you don't get snow this year that means Rockstar deliberately f*cked you over. Last-gen got snow last year, though, so rest assured you'll probably be fine.

Considering the game is already pushing the limits on console RAM from all the updates this year, people should be prepared for the chance that it can't handle the snow along with all the other data. I'd say it's a 50 50 shot.

I dunno, the data for the snow is already in the game. Even with the few other updates, since the snow is already in the game but just turned off, so the console still has the data and runs pretty well even with the extra updates. I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

The option to toggle snow on/off is always there but the data that makes it render only loads when it's on. It's the actual rendering of the snow, in addition to everything added since last year, that may be an issue. The toggle for snow is in the tunables, as text. Text doesn't use much data, but the function that relates to the text uses a fair amount.

Last Gen not having snow is actually quite fitting this year since I've seen little to no snow IRL this time around, makes it more authentic I guess.
