When you transfer your character you keep you rank, money, cars, etc. Nothing resets.

You might wanna check the news, it just snowed in Negev desert in Israel just last week, and in they've had some pretty decent snow in the southern deserts of Arizona in 2013, and the Gobi Desert in China and Mongolia sees snowfall every year, so yes, it does snow in the desert.

i cant believe you analyzed my post. I was making a point that R* seems to have kicked last gen to the curb with updates, so I wouldnt expect them to bring snow back. I was referring to LG as the desert (think barren, bleak, dead, etc) and snow (something fun that deserts GENERALLY don't get) but I see it went over your head.

 

This is like if I were to write 'when pigs fly' and you quote me and cite two instances in history when pigs actually flew.

it looks like r* might be getting ready to turn on the snow (for christmas_ because when i logged on a while ago there was some fog in los santos.

i useally don't see fog in gtao when i play (360).

of course i;m usually doing one of three things.

1. i'm in a free roam deathmatch.

2. i'm going after bounties,

3. or i'm doing missions or heists and never noticed the fog.

Going by my past work on GTAO Modding Community in the past, im 99.99% certain that LG [XB360/PS3] WILL get snow, but no proper DLC.

 

Snow will appear in the city, the Christmas Masks will be available again etc. however no new content is going to drop, possibly a Event Weekend and x2 RP or $ for something, maybe a sale on certain vehicles etc. but Im very happily going to say out loud here, that we are most certainly going to see snow on LG as well as CG and PC.

 

 

EDIT: I do also know that the Christmas Tuneables are still switched off, so there is also the chance that R* will switch them on some time closer to X-Mas or X-Mas Eve etc. which DOESNT require any update, and your game can update after you refresh it to get snow online, so thats some further evidence to back up my theory.

 

EDIT: Just remembered, Christmas masks are already in the game, but are only available through Heists/Heist Setups if the outfits are set to player owned (i believe) and the masks are in your inventory, so R* can active them to come into the Vespucci Mask store again (which come under the same Christmas Tuneables as the Snow comes under.)
