The snow is already in the game and can be activated using server tunables by Rockstar, so there is no excuse for not getting it.

We have always gotten snow every christmas, why wouldn't we get it this year?

Same goes for the christmas trees in our apartments and the gigantic christmas tree in square park.

It would be extremely mean-spirited for Rockstar to not give you snow; it's one of the few novelty things last-gen can actually cope with.

How long have you been playing GTAO?

 

It snowed, it will snow. The 'code' is already there, it's just a HAS_SNOWED type switch they have to throw. The map gets overlaid (as it has been since launch), traction goes down, voila. No code needed.

Im just wondering will those of us still playing on the old gen still get snow for xmas this year. We already don't get any more updates. It would really suck if we don't at least get the xmas stuff from last year. Personally, i just want the snow lol.

I'm sure it's definitely possible, but ... Rockstar can be a little sadistic sometimes, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
