Don't remember the first car I bought but the first car I stole and kept on this character was a green Emporer. Man I hated that thing, so no I don't still have it lol

While I'm here, can I ask if anyone knows what happened to my ride? I logged on today literally so I could take a photo of my very first GTA Online vehicle, my Dominator.

But afterwards, I decided to play some Lamar missions. Completed one just fine. Attempted another(the one where you have to rescue Gerald) and my Dominator blew up with me in it which caused a random and I to quick restart. His bike respawned but my Dominator didn't, I figured because I'd have to call insurance. Eventually the random left so I said whatever, I'll just call for my ride and do something else.

 

But I couldn't reach the insurance people. I thought "Odd, but I'll just call my mechanic then, maybe I don't have to call insurance after all". But then my mechanic couldn't get me my Dominator, it wasn't an option. So I stole a ride, went to my garage, and

Where's my Dominator? Whats up with this?

 

Known problem with vehicles occupying the first slot of garages, I think. You may want to contact Rockstar and/or see if there's any other way to fix the problem.

 

This is the very reason that I made sure whatever occupying the 1st slot of any garage is disposable or at least replaceable, even though it has never happened to me.

 

 

Respect. So many of you still have your 1st car!

 

It greatly helps if you've made a conscious choice of your first vehicle instead of taking things up blindly. Your love of the car itself and the sentimental value combined should be strong enough to dissuade you from even consider getting rid of it.

Cheers for the response. I already sent a ticket to R* Support earlier today when I noticed this so I'll hope for the best. If in reality all they can do is give me some money to refund my loss, I'll recreate my first vehicle(not hard to do it honestly) and just headcanon in-universe that it took a little longer to repair my character's vehicle than it does normally.

 

Still though, if it could just reappear, that'd be great.

Absolutely. If it wasn't my Schafter, I probably would have been looking for a Zion (Fastest in their respective classes for free after researching some). Glad I found the Schafter though because I love it.

My first brought cars where the Vacca and the Carbonizzare when Rockstar gave us 500,000 which i still own

Well I mean, I just lost mine today after taking the time to take photos to show it here. lol

 

But hopefully R* solves its sudden disappearance issue. As far as why I kept my Dominator, its the vehicle my character used when she had no other. The vehicle I as a player used when I had no other. I/She drove many a place with it before I/she was wealthy, it saw many battles, it got wrecked time and time again, but it survived.

 

That car isn't driven around all that much anymore, but it will always have a special place in my heart and in the heart of my character. No way I'd/she'd ever get rid of that Dominator.

I was trying to get the tutorial over with so I could play with my friends, I didn't pay attention to the Personal Vehicle thing and just thought Simeon wanted me to find him a random car and sell it to him. Turns out, the damn thing became my PV. So I just kept it around until I could get another PV and sold that POS.

My "first" car was an Astrope I think, I got to keep it from the Lamar intro race somehow and continued on playing, put on the free tracker and insurance that Simeon offers you(at the time I didn't have much clue what it was all about, it was the starting days of GTA Online) and kept it until I bought a house,then I got a Dominator(the car I wanted to own as first) and replaced the Astrope once I got my hands on a Dameon.

My first car Simeon helped me to mod was also a Dominator. After a few days of earning cash I bought the garage out near Zancudo on route 68. This photo was one of the first I ever took in snapmatic (Online at least) back in November 2013. Oh how life has changed for my character...

The first car I had was a Penumbra, but I lost it along with my first character back when the online was super broken for its first few weeks. After that, I decided on a Sentinel XS. Still have it.

My first car was when lamar gave me the quest to steal one, so the first decent i came across was a Dominator

And sure im still using it, for races its still one of the top muscles anyway.

I stole a Buffalo to start the game but this is the 1st car I ever purchased.

Still has the paint job I put on it when I was told to repaint it at the beginning of the game. Doesn't get driven as much anymore (used to really beat on it when it was my only car), but I'll never get rid of it.

 

Bought my first house (Paleto Bay) and drove it all the way up there to buy it, as it was my only car at the time. Still is parked in the first space in the far corner of the garage. Seen here after I stocked up on ammo at our local Ammunation:

Even convinced myself to take it out in the snow late last year and it went decently...
