It takes 3 homing launcher shots to destroy a tank actually, you're not invincible in a Tank. A jet 's homing launchers take like 2 shots to destroy it because it's more powerful, so the guy must've used 2 homing launchers but you didn't see.

You can dodge homing missles in a hydra by doing loops. I've once had two players fire all their homing launcher ammo at me and miss. They ended up calling me a cheater and glitcher but it's really easy to do. Look it up on YouTube.

OP, GIT GUD, snipe pilots outta da cockpit or take em down with your tank, its not that difficult.I have seen a lot of tanks taking down jets, plus i have done it myself.

I dont realize its op because i can take them down, and its the easiest thing to do in GTA online. Jets are just better than tanks. Fact tank drivers are no longer the king or trolling jet pilots are.

I was replying to the comment where somebody said something about a flying fortress so naturally I assumed it was a hack like the Jet being able to destroy my overpriced Tank with one shot.

 

I didn't actually think it was a flying house I thought maybe it was a either a hack or some B52 type flying fortress.

 

Still none of this has actually answered my question. I legit just want to kill people when they spawn, using my Tank, and not have to worry about some cheater in an airplane.

 

It's cool.

 

If no solution I will find a way around this.

There are no cheaters in planes lol A tank takes 1 hit from a jet, thats just the way it is. But you dont see too many jets in lobbies so find one with low ranks and no jets flying. Use off radar often. Tanks are very weak these days. The HL doesnt make it any easier. The tank was a great trolling weapon back in the days but not any more.

If all you really wanna do is kill players I strongly suggest learning to fly the lazer.

It's dicks like you spawn killing other players that are the reason tank armor was nerfed.

 

So yea thanks a lot spawn killers. Now we have no ground vehicles that can stand up to a jet.

 

People spawn kill with jets at that time too, it's the retards who kept raging running their car in the tanks.

I went into Online and fired up my tank. There were these guys having fun doing something and my intention was to troll them and spawn kill them with my tank.

 

 

Haha, I'm not sure why, but this made me laugh.

 

Anyway, the first thing a tank driver needs to do, is check the skies for armed jets, the icon for a Lazer or Hydra is different than a Titan or other unarmed aircraft.
