How do you grind?

I grind on the hottest chicks.

Savage. Back OT, my way of grinding is Los Sanots Connection, RR, Landing Strip, Titan of a Job and many more high level missions. They are even easier with the Savage Heli or Hydra, all though I mostly use the Savage because of its missles.

As soon as I can, I'm getting a Hydra, specifically for that reason...

But yeah, the point of the thread was, IF you grind, what do you do while you do it. I should have been more specific.

Whoops.

Well I just take my phone, look for some songs and sing. Hopefully no one hears me

Hey that works too! Lol.

As long as I remember to turn off my mic it works. Once in a while I forget it and start singing in every language but English (apart from some exceptions)

Lol, nice. You on PC too? If I hear someone singing in the lobby I'll know its you. :p

No, Xbox One. Managed to get one while studying in Italy and sold my old PS3. PC is just too expensive to get it working every time, so I prefer a cheaper choice.

Either way, it's rare i forget to turn off my mic, sorry hahahaha

Yeah I understand that. Consoles are just easier. Put the disc in, bang you're done.

I do Rooftop Rumble, eliminate the professionals, and let the team do the rest.

If there's x2 cash for LTS (I play bumper cars) or Adversary Mode (I play Slasher), I do those and don't do anything until the team needs me. I try to get the other team to kill me so I won't feel any obligations to continue playing. I then play other games on another device or homework/studying.

I set up the titan of a job mission on hard and launch it when 6 ppl have joined. Then i just sit back browsing the net on my phone while the other 5 do all the work

Rinse and repeat.

Load up, quick job a contact mission and let it run its course. Then sell a Sentinel XS for $17K as often as possible.

I've given up on quick jobbing heists, too unreliable.

It's not a grind to me though, it's just playing.

How i grind? I sell Buccaners 648k (after nerf from 758k)

Teach me lol.Sadly, Patched, You was able to dupe 1 in 1min, filled up 17, still a few on my Secoundary Character, se

elling process was like 1,5min per car, so 35~min per 15cars~

Earned 90Milions in 3Days Baby.

I used to grind before they changed mission payouts. Lots of RR(ugh) or a mix between the higher paying contact missions and used to set 48 min timers to sell cars.

I got sick of it all. Made millions upon millions. Wasted a lot on useless Pegasus vehicles. R* didn't add a whole lot of contact missions so i bought some shark cards and earned some illegitimate money.

The VIP missions I'm finding pretty fun right now but I cant grind over and over anymore. It's just become repetitive.

Ah ok. Well I only play legit. Not that I knock anyone for glitching because making money in this game is very time consuming.

Might be time for a new game bro. GTA is all about the grind lol.

For those of you that refuse to buy overpriced Shark Cards like me, what methods do yo use to make ends and keep yourself entertained?

Do the Fleeca job. After that I play the playlist "Potshot x8". Potshot gives you 9,750$ every 4 minutes.

Then redo Fleeca and so on...

This method gives you ~130K/hour.

PS: You need to download the potshot playlist from the social club.

i just set goals for myself. Usually it's $150-200k for an hour of contact missions. Once I've hit my monetary goal I relax a bit on the grinding and add some variety to the mix. Races, adversary modes, death Matches; none are all that profitable but at least I'm doing different things, meeting different players and generally having a good time. A good 2-3 hour session will net 300-600k depending on my mood. If I'm in a grinding mood I may very well do 30 contact missions in a row. Other days I'll hit my goal with 45 minutes and then say f*ck it, and spend two hours trying to land the Titan on my yacht.

In the end, the important thing is still having fun. Don't be one of those douche bags that joins a contact mission and doesn't contribute, I tend to run those f*ckers over and immediateky go back to free mode. I've been in sessions where no one moves...it's pathetic.

Dude, I'm usually the only one in the mission that knows what they're doing. And that includes 100+ ranks!

My method is as follows:

Load into GTA Online, if night time (22:00 - 04:00) find Yellow/Blue Sentinal XS and sell.

Wait for Simeon car list to appear, if good (Ocelot F620 or Jackal/Tailgaiter) sell for cash.

Complete daily duties.

Then missions for 48 minutes, sell another Sentinal XS and repeat process.

My character is new (Rank 25) so while I run quick missions (Chasers, Rockford Roll, All In The Game), I usually listen to some music, or watch TV shows, or stand up comedy acts while I mindlessly drone mission after mission, taking a break on the hour to carjack and sell a high end car off the street. Doing this until I can go VIP at 1M and try the Invite Only trick there.

For those of you that refuse to buy overpriced Shark Cards like me, what methods do yo use to make ends and keep yourself entertained?

Playing Solo

I start off doing the daily objectives, under both characters

then I will select a contract mission and start playing them until i get bored, and sell cars as the cool down timer resets

once this gets a little old i will stay in freeroam and do some of the freeroam events

and end up accepting invites from other players to do jobs, heists, missions, tdms ect, if i find a good lobby of players i hang in with them for as long as it lasts,

Playing with friends

if there is 4 of that is going to be one for a couple of hours, we do heists, with the heist host changing once we complete one,

if there is more than 4 of us we start a friends lobby and do the freeroam stuff together and just have a good time doing anything that will allow all of us to play together

Grinding Money can get very boring if you always doing the same thing by yourself, so keep it mixed up, even if you do nothing but just explore and goof off.

I rarely grind these days as I find it rather boring and kills my fun, but the most effective way for me is the following:

Start up GTA5 in single player, go to menu, select Online, then Invite Only Session, this way I'm a lobby by myself and loading from missions to lobby, and visa versa is faster.

Grab my armored Kuruma, drive out, and go to the menu, select online, then Jobs, then play job, rockstar created jobs, missions, Rooftop Rumble, set it to Hard Mode for additional rewards, closed session, drive to the location and solo it.

Once I'm done and delivered my package to Martin, and the mission screens have finished, I hit Esc and leave the missions selection screen, I quickly spawn outside of Martin's house in my previous invite only session.

Then I go back to the menu, select Rooftop Rumble again, this time I spawn close by mission location with my Kuruma, get in the Kuruma, rinse and repeat till your sick of it.

Payout is about 11k for just over 5 min work. (first time will be longer cause you actually have to drive there instead of spawning nearby)

As for what I do on the side, I usually have some Twitch stream up on my second monitor, or some other website, like this forum.

VIP mission Sightseer is the new grind....

easy $25K in about 4 mins and because the package locations change, it's a little less boring to grind

mix in a few of your favorite contact missions during the cool down period and you make decent money

Only downside is that you actually need a 1 Million to start this one because of the VIP requirement.

Another reason to never spend that 1st million you make...
