...but I definitely feel like someone on the GTA O team may have seen my thread.

Nothing is verbatim, of course, but a lot of what I came up with in that thread was put into the game in some form as the Executives update... Including the revolver. None of the vigilante stuff made it of course but my VIP and distribution ideas were sort of worked in.

 

Maybe it's just a huge coincidence. Maybe I just think like R* devs.

 

Not the first time this has happened either. In another thread I suggested a new car called the Maibatsu Kuruma X based on the Evo. We got the Karin Kuruma based on the Evo. Another time I suggested a power boat with a V12 called the Pegassi Torpedo. We got the Lampdati Toro.

 

I've suggested other things like a flare gun, various clothing articles and other things that I'm sure a million other people have requested too, but the Kuruma, boat, and some of the Executive update features seem really specific.

Like you said millions of other people have probably suggested the same thing and they have just lookin the Wishlist Thread....

 

Now if they came out with something very specific that you suggested then i can understand but the cars and boats they released were suggested by millions of other people

Not asking for credit you turd sandwich, I just think it's cool that Rockstar seems to actually use our ideas sometimes. Maybe it would encourage some of the whiny babies out there to stop complaining about things they don't like and instead offer constructive criticism - who knows! Five months later the dollar menu was unveiled and the exact items I listed. Things that make you go hmmm.

If Rockstar actually listened to people, then helicopters would actually be worth using. Instead they're paper weak, and have to deal with that s***ty homing launcher.

 

If they listened, jets wouldn't be so stupidly powerful.

 

The game would have dedicated servers/actually be playable.

 

There would be matchmaking that works.

 

The game wouldn't be designed in a way that makes everything cost an arm and a leg.

Also, think about what you're saying: you're saying that you like the fact the game has terrible matchmaking and awful lag? You must really love watching clouds, getting unknown network errors, seeing everyone "leave", etc. God, what the f**k is wrong with some people?

Back in April of 97 I had this inkling of a fun video game that you could steal cars and get paid for them and you could do missions and shoot at cops.
