Custom car in races

When creating a race, you want a certain vehicle, so you lock it..

But, Is there no way to have custom car on a locked car race? I've not worded that right at all but.. I've done a race once before where the car was locked to panto but I could use my custom panto.

No, not possible, any race with Custom Vehicles enabled will allow all custom vehicles of that class to be used.

 

So it has to be stock vehicle only to stay locked to one car, if it was a Panto race and everyone was in one they must have

stuck with the one car or agree to it.

If you allow only 2 cars in a race, that will allow you to use custom vehicles, but like tails said, you would be able to choose any custom vehicle you have in that class.

So if you only allow the Panto and the Rhapsody in a race, you can choose a custom vehicle of yours even if it's not a Panto or a Rhapsody as long as it's inside that class.

Yes, if you lock every car but two of them, then you can choose your custom cars. Problem is you can also choose any custom car from that class.

 

To make it clear, here's another example. You only allow a T20 and an Osiris in a race, therefore you're able to choose custom vehicles, but if you own a T20, Osiris, Zentorno and Cheetah for example, you will also be able to choose the Cheetah and Zentorno as custom vehicles despite not being allowed.
