The Schafter V12 is WAY faster, but the LWB...?

You can only outrun a t20 when you go in a straight line for a long time, which will never happen in a mission/heist/freemode, so GG.

Yeah you're right, 30 seconds is wayyy too long!:sigh:

Objection.

In missions I've outrun t20's in my old Schafter so the V12 should have no problem.

Ok not in a straight line, but when someone's full pelt smashing and flipping every corner you could outrun 'em on a faggio.

I'm still on the fence about upgrading to a V12 or LWB.

The LWB is slightly longer and has a lower top speed than the original Schafter. It also gets a slightly poorer lap time than the original Schafter, despite being a sports car.

So, the verdict is that you're better off with an orginal Schafter, especially due to it's cheaper price, unless you don't care about performance too much.

It's worth it just for the sound coming from it.

No one really cares how long it takes to outrun a super car. Just knowing that you can is the appeal factor.

To the people talking about outrunning T20s....... you're just getting chase by terrible drivers.

In a straight line, the V12 beat the T20 easily when I was with my crewmate at the airport doing drag racing.

The V12 armored (100% armored) is slower than the V12 unarmored (%100 armored) as well. I would assume that the Armored version is the same speed as a T20, since I was outdistanced at the same rate as when I was in my T20.

The T20 has a fairly poor top speed though, even a Zentorno rips it apart on open tracks.

Yes I'm very well aware of that, but I just put that there because...

To the people talking about outrunning T20s....... you're just getting chase by terrible drivers.

Actually T20 has a top speed of 122mph and it is tied with Zentorno, Turismo and Osiris in top speed

You cant beat a zentorno with a t20 on the race around the international airport (forget the races name) but its mostly flat out. You have forgotten to take into account the cars drag stat which is much higher in the Osiris and T20. They are both slower on the top end, this is a well known fact.

If a mission or a heist requires you to go on the highway to reach the destination, you can outrun it there, and it only takes 10 - 15 seconds to hit top speed on a straight. It's even quicker if the road is downhill or has bumps.

The Armoured version is still faster than the T20 and is only 0.5 mph slower than the regular V12, surpisingly. In fact, all of the Armoured variants, except for the Schafter LWB, are only 0.5 mph slower than their regular variants.

Yes. Which is what I said.

LWB is a boat and slower than v12

Yeah, it's even slower than the original Schafter that was already present in the game prior to the DLC, and it's classed as a sports car. Just an excuse to add more of the same re-skinned sh*t into the game so people have a reason to buy as much sh*t as possible.

The LWBs should have been Sedans while the V12 Armoured should have also been sports. But they, for some odd reason, made both of the regular variants sports cars and both of the Armoured variants sedans. Rockstar logic.

I haven't tested it, but from what I saw they were essentially the same speed considering, the speed difference wasn't as discernible as it was with the unarmored version. Which was my point.

If you want to get into an argument of semantics. I defer to your chart numbers.

I just showed you that the Armoured version is faster than the T20. Why do you have to make a big fuss about it?

I wasn't making the fuss here, you were.

"It's .5 faster than the T20" Why was that such a big deal to point out? My not seeing a noticeable difference between the armored V12 and the T20 warranted correcting, why?

I said it's 0.5 mph slower than the regular V12. So therefore, it is 1.5 mph faster than than the T20.

You 'assumed' they were the same speed, so I corrected you. Why you getting so jacked up? I'm giving you the right information and you throw it back at me.

I'm glad you helped me make the decision about buying one in the other thread. You were very helpful.

But in this I didn't think it needed correcting. Didn't know it was a big deal to express the opinion on feel versus stats. That's why I wasn't fussed about the correction, but wasn't "grateful" either. Just seemed kinda petty to me. But I get it, you're overly invested in singing the praises of the V12, and want to correct each glaring error you find about it.

That's fine.

Someone needs to learn to be an adult and keep their hurt feelings in one thread and treat each new thread as a new experience.

Only lame ass pathetic people hold grudges. Especially pathetic when they're grudges over opinions on an Internet Forum.

True, but encountering the same person across different threads, one can expect a certain person to behave in certain ways. HulioG has a strong anti-jet stance, Blastman4EVER goes berserk whenever cheats and glitches are mentioned, Giantsgiants posts hilariously-painted cars in car threads (People actually call Giants out when he's not posting them).

It is only when someone does something out of that expectations that a re-examination of those expectations is required. You have not changed one bit or behaved in a way that I haven't seen before, so what's the problem of giving my suggestion to another person based on earlier observations?

Anyway, enough off-topic rubbish with you.

The problem with people quoting Broughy's top speed tests is that they often forget that is exactly what those tests are about, top speed. They forget the importance of acceleration when it comes to everyday-straight line performance, which are purposefully left out by Broughy in order to get accurate top speed statistics.

According to those very same tests, the Futo is as fast as the Jester Race Car in terms of top-speed. This is true on a very long straight line like the one Broughy used, but a short straight, the Jester's vastly-superior acceleration is going to blow the Futo out of the water easily. While this is a truly extreme case, it makes it evident that they are not very useful statistics for anything else than highway/airport races and "now you know".

I wouldn't comment on whether the T20 or Zentorno is faster since that's clearly not my expertise, but they can have different strengths and weaknesses despite their same top speed and similar Cutting Coroners GP lap times, people.

Quick Edit: The Futo is actually as fast as the Jester RC. Whoops.

Since the update was released, I have abandoned the Massacro in favour of the Schafter V12, becoming my new favourite sports car.

Also put a metal silver + metallic white to give it the silver arrows treatment.

Anyway, enough off-topic rubbish with you.

I can't stop you from having an opinion or sharing that opinion via PM. But I can call out when that opinion is a lame and pathetic carry over from some other thread you're still salty about. Especially when you derail a completely different topic to vent which is the usual typical sad behavior of forum warriors.

For me, I've argued with people in one thread and given them thumbs up in another, simply because, my ego doesn't get destroyed when people disagree with me. I don't have this pathetic display of, they're my antagonist always as I don't care enough to remember the posting style of anyone to bother holding a grudge.

You're assuming that I don't evaluate post content over the source of post content, which I will look over since I have yet to appear to have done the same to you.

Let me repeat, you are behaving in the exact same way as our last encounter, if you're expecting a different kind of response from me then you're simply being insane. Your hypocritical complaint about me trying to derail the thread right after my second attempt to steer it back on course is the perfect example. And yes, telling Fearx to stop wasting time in a furball with you was my first.

And taking my own advice to Fearx, I'll find a wall to argue with. At least that one doesn't desperately spew bullsh*t at me at the cost of everyone else reading the thread.

And yet here you are with more off topic rubbish. I'm sure you'll have an excuse for your blatant hypocrisy.

Excuse because as I stated, you're way too invested in your pathetic ego tripping tantrum to act in a mature fashion and drop your pathetic vendetta.
