truffleshuffle03 Posted December 18, 2015 Share Posted December 18, 2015 I have been trying to use the director mode and there are a few things I really don't like. The short record time yes it will do continuous recordings but there is always a delay saving which will skip some of the recordings and if you are doing a chase or something it really will mess it up if you have to stop mid chase to wait for the recording delay. Also you can't use you're Online cars in Director Mode which is kind of crappy because there are a lot of online cars and stuff I want to use. Also when using the director mode you don't have access to all of the actions like slow clapping and stuff like that which is not a huge deal but would be nice. I wold also love to see it where you and you're friends can all use the director mode at the same time together but not sure how well that would really work. That is just what problems and stuff I have seen with my limited use of director mode so far. I am sure I will find more issues the more I use it. Have the host be the one who makes all the settings, everyone else can be his actors. Yes that would be a good way for that to happen. I like to do videos where I recreate movie scenes or tv show openings and it gets hard to do with my friends online because you can't change the day night cycle or the weather and you can't take out npc people or cars to clear a area. I can do a lot by my self in director mode but since you can only be one actor at a time it makes it hard to not have friends helping. My friends don't mind helping me out but it gets a bit tedious and boring constantly waiting for day night and things like that. I also wish that you had access to online cars for director mode like Pegasus vehicles and cars you have in you're apartments and stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Go into creator mode and create a race with the weather condition/ time of day that you desire. While testing the race, go back into Online and the weather should stick. Setting up the scene and getting everything done with in the cycle is a bit frustrating specailly with the short record time between transfers of the recording because you always run into the delay saving which halts what you are doing while you wait for the recording to start again after the delay and there are bound to be screw ups that you have to do things over that cause more problems. That is one reason I like director mode but I just wish you could have friends in it as well.
