gooeyhole
ClaudX reminded me of this mission. Â Joey tells you to pick up his men, and get them to the bank. They get out. Sometimes rhey all come out, sometimes one comes out. Either way, there's shooting. Â What goes down in the bank, in your opinion? It's a stupid question but the game is old so hey, why not? Sombra
I'd like to think that there's some sort of good samaritan/security in the bank hence the gunshots although realistically it's more likely just a random script that decides how many come out. Â That being said it was a cool mission and I can't help but feel theres potential for a longer string of missions leading up to it but I guess R* didn't want to drag out the Portland missions. gooeyhole
gooeyhole
Maybe the good samaritan in four leaf clover was based on the good samaritan in The Getaway.
slimeball supreme
I see two possibilities: Â Figure A - If everyone comes out Scott free, Joey's men either shot some warning shots or killed a hostage, possibly a security guard. Figure B - Basically the same as A, but instead a security guard/armed dude comes into play during the heist and f*cks up the crew. They take whatever loot they can and scramble out - whether it's one man down or practically the whole crew. Â But in the end, whatever happened is up to interpretation. Helegad
Thing is, you receive a bonus with your regular payment if they all make it out alive, IIRC. I think it's a pathfinding glitch and a few robbers might get stuck inside sometimes, but the "get out" cutscene will timeout instead of waiting for the AI to get its sh*t together. Sombra
Someone please edit main.scm to move the cutscene camera to the bank so we can see what the f*ck goes on inside there. Â I mean I know it'll probably be the dudes running in, standing still then running out but it'll still be cool BlackSnow176

Helegad
I watched a video of the cut Chinatown multiplayer map the other day, and the player could access the bank. It's just a square room with red carpet. Nothing else. You could be right about Blue Hell. Maybe they didn't implement the collision detection on the floor thoroughly enough. Mr.ClaudeFan
Exactly what we didn't see in Reservoir Dogs. Oh wait.
GTAGuy1995
Yeah I remember this glitch happening for me as well, I always wondered why sometimes only 1 or 2 bank robbers make it out of the bank.
PhillBellic
Perhaps a friendly Triad Member doesn't take to kindly to the Bank Robbery. The Bank could have been paying Protection,
