OP, did you happen to motice that it comes with a helicopter, jet skis, boats, defences, a captain, a bar, and is a floating luxury appartment with multiple bedroom, and that you can move it around the map!? Even my cheapest friends who were reluctant to buy it, decided it was a good deal. Have you even looked at the price of real yachts? If you are too broke, they are not for you! That is the whole idea. People that put the time in making money get the pleasure of owning them. People who whine instead of grind, don't deserve a yacht. they are over priced. And that is the entire point of them. People that can truely afford big ticket items, don't care if they are over priced. They only care that not everybody can afford it. That's what they put in the work for. To own something unique, and sought after.

To be fair, 100$ isn't just "peanuts" for the average person. When I add to that, the fact that I bought the game twice, and the LG version I bought was the big expensive collectors edition, I feel I've already sunk quite a bit into this game, so seeing the average price for these "free" updates slowly rise is a bit frustrating. Coupled with the fact that, when GTA started, I had no idea that these updates would be like this. The first one was legitimately free. Everything cost nothing. I remember being all hyped with my friends "Hey, if they released this little thing with a few missions/survivals, handful of clothes and a pair of vehicles for free, can't wait to see what's next". The next update wasn't too bad. Then the one after that, then they dropped a 20$ car. Then several items each worth around 100$. I never had the time to dedicate a ton of hours a day to grinding, and as I built my fortunes through glitching and grinding and CM challenge, I spent that money on the stuff that I wanted from day 1 and previous updates I couldn't get before or after. Enjoyed my time getting what I wanted. Only to find out I feel like I wasted it, because more and more expensive stuff comes out a little later.

That said, I'm not entirely salty about the prices. I understand what they're doing, and having something to work towards keeps me motivated to play, and helps keep my friends that I enjoy playing with, motivated to play with me. My one concern is that when I DO finally get enough for a Yacht, that they immediately drop ANOTHER update with something as equally priced AS the yachts, but more desirable for me. (Hence, all that salt.)

The yachts are UNDER priced my friend, for the Luxor Deluxe set the bar @ $10M from IGG.

 

The majority of us anticipated them to be like $12-20M.

Its a business guys those DLC arent free.... As long as you keep thinking the new content coming every 2months is , these items will seem overpriced

Why did you say so ? There's only hottub , defence system , tv , a robot bartender , and an old skipper there ... a 1.5- 3 million dollar helicopter, boats worth up 2 Million and jet skis worth up to 100,000 You can easily get bored after an hour .

6m to 8m for a yacht that's slow as hell and I saved up to 1million or so and yet I feel like you must use a 100$ bill for a fake boat, don't get me wrong I love how they did the yachts and you can customize and save choppers but for6-8 million , I feel like they should put the yacht for w cheap price like 3million or 4million cause it's ridiculous...

 

That actually IS what the Yacht costs when you subtract out the value of the boat, sea does, dinghy, and helicopter.

That's not a bad idea... $50-$60million for the aircraft carrier would be nice...I would probably never own one because I've spent most of my legit $100mil already but that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.

Yachts are nowhere near overpriced considering that some real world yachts can reach up to $50.000.000+. In the yacht appreciation thread, they said that the 7mill yacht comes with a free swift deluxe which costs 5mill from Pegasus. So essentially you are buying a swift deluxe and then paying 2mill for a yacht and some other Pegasus vehicles.

The $10mil Yacht comes with a $3mil+ Heli a $1mil Toro 4 jet bikes and a dingy, to me that's a bargain

I can make $500k to $1mil a day without breaking a sweat,

I usually go for $500k in about 4-5 hours then spend the rest of the day on my Yacht,shooting low life scrubs that come aboard.

People really need to learn how to play this game.

If you played 15-30 minutes a day doing daily objectives at the end of 28 days you'd have 1.4-1.6 million dollars EXCLUDING the extra money you'd get completing the objectives. And one would assume you'd sell at least one baller or sentinel a session.

 

And that's simply maintaining...not even really playing the game.

 

There are no excuses. You don't want to put in the "effort" (cause making money in this game is still effortless to me) don't expect the rewards.

could not agree more people don't want to work for anything in this game they just expect it all to fall in their laps either through money glitches, modding or any other non legitimate method while the rest of us enjoy the game for what it is and know how to stack the dollars up legit.
