Yachts are over priced ...

6m to 8m for a yacht that's slow as hell and I saved up to 1million or so and yet I feel like you must use a 100$ bill for a fake boat, don't get me wrong I love how they did the yachts and you can customize and save choppers but for6-8 million , I feel like they should put the yacht for w cheap price like 3million or 4million cause it's ridiculous...

I bought a yacht on each of my characters, along with a new penthouse each, and a new set of the new cars and pegasus vehicle each. Still got $30 mil+.

 

So, yeah, it's peanuts.

In the yacht appreciation thread, they said that the 7mill yacht comes with a free swift deluxe which costs 5mill from Pegasus. So essentially you are buying a swift deluxe and then paying 2mill for a yacht and some other Pegasus vehicles.

8 million gets you a massive ocean apartment with a 3 mil chopper and a 2 mil boat that both spawn on the apartment. Pretty good deal IMO.

 

Put it into perspective, the gold Luxor costs 10 mil and you don't get nearly as much out of it.

Price $52,000,000 USD and here's link. I couldn't even imagine what the yearly maintenance costs are, besides the 10-15+ person crew. This has no helipad, or any of the in game amenities the Yachts in GTAO have.

If R* were to implement anything like that, they'd simply integrate the Aircraft Carrier from the HLR Heist for purchase by players.

Complete with sets of Homing Rockets (as SAMs) & Rhino Tank Barrels (as Cannons, but with extended ranges)

With what we have been given to buy since the Heists update if you don't have the money for a yacht you have been doing things wrong.

OP, if you're on the PC though, hit me up. One can make a legit million in 3-4 days without playing the same thing over and over.

Rockstar overprices a lot of items but this one time they don't, and could have f*cked us all, but didn't, people like you consistently bitch and moan.

Why are you even thinking about buying Shark Cards to buy the yacht? That's automatically overpriced. $100 for a in game yacht. 8 million GTA Dollars isn't even enough to fully customise it, fully modded is 10 mill. Not to mention mention need a mill to be VIP and get the most fun out of the yacht.

 

There was suitable gap between this update and the Lowriders to save up at least 10 mill for this update. The yachts cheap, friends of mine was expecting it to be 20 to 35 million, they would be a novelty at that price. The Gold Luxor Deluxe is 10 million and doesn't offer no where near as much functionality and customisation as the yacht. Consider yourself lucky, it's pretty cheap.

 

You must be that type of GTA Player that comes back when DLC drops and complain things are priced 'too high' when you haven't even been playing the game. Quite a lot of those.

Wow this yacht is actually very cheap.... You basically fail at gta if you only have 1 million...

And btw, the yacht is not slow lol....it's actually the fastest vehicle in the game. It's faster than any jet or supercar.

You should play another game because you just suck at gta. I actually wanted it to cost more but 6-10million is still ok...
