Losing my touch?

my kd is 3.90 I have had it for a while and i don't see why you need to be so negative when i was making a post looking for advice.

K/D doesn't mean much since you can easily farm it with a hydra or by killing noobs.

I'm honestly not the kind of player to continuously pick on noobs and I rarely use a jet I just can't seem to get they sniper shots that I usually get

this is actually true man I have spent the last couple days showing off my new dlc items in passive mode lol

In all cases, it's just me having a bad day - or getting that drunk that my reflexes turn to sh*t lol.

DM junkie here and yes, it seems like my aim acceleration is off.

For example, I'm used to being able to hold down the aim button down and flick my R3 stick and it "jumped" from enemy to enemy.

Since the update, I can flick it but after the second flick, I have to let the aim button go and press it down again.

Now of course the first thing I do after an update is check my aiming bars and aim mode (full assist) and everything is the set the way I usually have it but it's not performing the way I am used to.

Not sure if it's that auto-aim assist (full) is defaulting to auto-aim (partial) while it says it's on full assist or if it's just not registering the full aim acceleration, aim sensitivity bars that I keep full.

 

I do recall after the Slasher mode was released that the aim was acting up and a few weeks later it went back to normal and now it's back to acting strangely.

 

Another thing I think I noticed was my 9F Cabrio.

It seems like the car has been shortened.

I mean, I jacked a regular 9F from an NPC and I was like, oh snap, they gave us a new smaller version of the 9F?

But that is not the case.

So I went to my 1st character and pulled out my 9F Cabrio and maybe it's me, but damn, id put money on that they shortened it, perhaps by accident but either way, I almost start d a thread last night asking fellow 9F owners if they are also seeing what I think I'm seeing.

While I agree that some days are bad shooting days, this is more about the mechanics to me.

The aiming is not as responsive as I've gotten used to.

With over 2K DMs played, I know when I'm doing things wrong or when it's the game.

When I'm being killed on missions I've done hundreds of times because my weapon isn't doing what I expect.

I just transferred from PS3 to PS4 and Gave been feeling like the shooting is different. Figured it's the way current gen is. Also I too have the same flicking problem. After flicking to the 2nd target I have to re-aim. Things feel a split second slower

Ha! Some of these responses are great. 3.90 kd reeks of wall-breaching, passive mode abusing, FR warrior. Everyone has bad days too. Suck it up OP.

Same here OP , half the time I feel like I'm on fire, other times I always seem to be half a second behind the other guy. I mostly blame lag!

Eh, I kind of miss good old days when it was all autoshotgun sprayers and wannabe minigun badasses. Used to be I could dodge from cover to cover, only to roll out and get a headshot with the default pistol. Now days it's all marksman rifle side-strafing and missile spam. Can't even even take the Duster out without getting shot down by the homing missile... So sad.

Recently came back from just cause 3, my gunplay is better now, however my 2+years of GTA jet training have worn off near instantly. good think i never use them anymore.

& don't forget idle player killing in Contact Missions.

So many idlers now.

I feel you op, sometimes I miss basic sniper shots.. I just feel like punching myself in the face for it.
