Seeking Advice for Returning Player

So I haven't REALLY played since the "I'm Not a Hipster Update". I mean, every now and then I get on and update my outfit, change a car or two, buy the new gun, then hop off. I did the first heist, but that's it. However, this most recent update has got me wanting to get back into GTA Online again. My question is, what are important things that have changed in that time that I should know or be aware of?

Try the other heists, they're a good bit of fun with the right team and they'll all give out bonus cash for the first completion. Buy an armored car, kuruma or insurgent for missions or trolling. Don't buy gold aircraft. Yachts are a thing now.

 

Oh and you'll occasionally find bigfoot roaming around paleto forest

Thanks for the responses so far. I know what all the updates have, I'm referring to meta stuff. Like the go to guns and cars, missions to grind (if need be), current troll methods to look out for. Things like that.
