Can't remember why anymore but I was flying it over the Alamo Sea last year. I couldn't see anything; the fog was thick; everything was bluish, so I switched to first person view to check if the flight instruments worked.

They did, the altimeter reported that I was losing altitude really fast. I pulled up clumsily by looking at the artificial horizon when I started to see the wall of water in front of me. Water became snow, and before long I was flying over the lake again.

I think I get the type of experience you're describing. I haven't done this in a while but I used to fly the cuban 800 from LS intl to sandy shores around midnight, in first person, hearing nothing but the drone of the engine, alone in the world with my thoughts.

It would be awesome if Rockstar could replicate proper snow in game.

Initially, I'd react with an inner delight and share my thoughts on this form.

 

Then I'd call for my Hydra and see how she handles the adverse conditions. I would expect VTOL to be extremely difficult. If it's not, then it's not really blizzard conditions.

 

Then I'd test some of my land vehicles.

 

After that, it would be back to the usual freeroam stuff, although I'd imagine that sniping would be that much harder due to white out conditions.
