All I can say is 'Good luck man!' I've been doing the same this past weekend, register as VIP in an invite-only session, sightsee, and do a contact mission in the cooldown period. Made 2.2 million in 3 sessions of doing it!

Just remember to have fun in the process, I for one find it really pleasing that there's something to work towards again since the early days!

Kudos to OP. I'm not paying 75 Euro for the price of a yacht (thank you browser, a word I cannot spell).

I sold all the cars I never used, which between jobs got me to 4 mil. I then just settled down with higher paying solo missions and npc car sales. I bought a shark card for what I thought I lacked, but I didn't need it, only that I won't be playing missions or the PS heist for a while. Some randommers are awkward, including a Jesus Christ type who wouldn't ride in my Kuruma as it was 'cheating.' At least only two retries of the last bit. The other acct (non SC) was just well off as I only bought a Kuruma and Insurgent on it.

I had 6.3 mil left after getting the v12 and a stilt house, now i still only have 6.8. :catspider:

Yes, it's great to have finally have that thing and worked hard for it. You also get 6,3 million in extra vehicles (the SuperVolito Carbon, Toro and Dinghy), so you could say that the yacht alone only costs 1,7 million! ;-p

 

I myself already wanted the Toro and the SuperVolito looks nice.

I grinded the hell out of the heists when they were available months ago and saved my money. That was very easy money!

 

The Savage is feeble.. a couple of hits and its done, plus its slower than a cargobob

 

Buzzard is still king of Missions

 

LOL! The Savage is OP on Contact missions. Far better than the buzzard on any contact mission where helos can be utilized.

 

Maybe it can keep up with a Buzzard if you don't have to fly far like in Mixed up with Coke or CCIII

 

But Judging the Jury, Cops Capacity, LS Connection, Extradition, and most others, are all much faster with the Buzzard and you can take way more damage

 

Dont know how the Savage can be OP they both fire the same missiles and the cannon is of no benefit in missions as your hitting a single target and the missiles lock on...

 

actually now that the missiles lock on to other players in free roam the Cannon is pretty useless altogether

 

The cool down between rocket volleys on the Buzzard restricts how quickly you can hit multiple targets as in Los Santos Connection The cool down can get you in trouble when other targets are on your ass. I almost never get damage when using the Savage. You're going in too close and/or not flying sideways on your attacks. I used the Buzzard for a long time before the Savage came along and despite the slower speeds, the Savage gets the total job done quicker.

What is this cool down your talking about ? something new?

 

I did LS connection Friday night and didn't notice any change in the Buzzard

 

I bought the Savage for my main character when it first came out, hated it, wish I could sell it back

Good luck getting the ten million. :) Owning a yacht with legit money sure is quite the achievement. I reckon the yacht will own you after you get it since it takes one los santos connection just to move the thing.

Really? I won't say that I'm not OCD at all but I did about 3 mill of mission grinding Fri to Monday night; that was approx 15-18 hours. Toss in a few finales and bingo bango, 6 mill more...

My guilty gta pleasure is my muscle/super cars, needed that nightshade and tampa lol srry to let u guys down but heists repeatedly get dry. I am still saving to ten mil but hit roadblocks like fallout 4 and being absolutely terrible with money in game and real life hahaha

Muscle cars that you can drive now and have fun with, versus overpriced yacht that does nothing ... difficult tradeoff. :p

I don't see it as grinding either, I love playing Cleaning the Cat house repeatedly by myself and driving those curvy roads got me so good at driving that I win the no crash challenge everytime in freemode events. I literally can play it with my eyes closed for more than a few seconds. I kid you not, Im that familiar with the roads, When my eyes are burning at the end of the day, they naturaly burn cause Im on the computer a lot. Ill just shut my eyes for a quick doze while still driving.

 

Riiiiiiight....and not bump into any cars.
