rhans, what is the timing near the mission marker (in what order do you release phone call and detonate the charges)? Do you lose the phone call in the process? How do your controls look like? Some written description would be nice.

Yeah, this is a good call. It takes some time to happen though, not sure if it is high priority, I need to test it at Quarry to see if it is easy starting OMF0 with it. The best call might be the one after Breaking Bank at Caligula`s from Salvatore Leone, I will test this one at Quarry too. The good things is that none of the methods will "use" your phone call, so you will not lose it, so this means unlimited AP vehicles can be obtained from a single call.

OK, I tested Catalina`s call at Quarry and it works pretty well.

For the Beefy Baron you don`t lose the call either. You hold the call, enter Zero`s shop, place the satchel, enter the marker and as the screen is fading you detonate it. After exploding CJ you release TAB/L1. Also, you can press any button you want while on foot, I run using space bar really, not LSHIFT, you just need to be careful on vehicles, W is accept and F is decline when on a vehicle, for the modding options.

Lethal Vaccine

Good stuff! Yeah, I am in no rush to make AP Vehicles. Like, today I unlock Trucking Missions and I have Denise as a Girlfriend already, but don't want to use Trucking to make AP Vehicles and I rather it be as late in the game as possible, tbh. So after Breaking the Bank at Caligula's or End of the Line or something like that would be best in my case.

I am thinking of using the Impounds for this Save, too. Definitely will have 3 of something in LS and LV. Not sure about SF since it's the most dodgy of the Impounds and only way to get them inside there is manually entering, but it's a possibility I use it, too. This way, I can store at LEAST 6 up to 9 more Special Vehicles and they will all be AP inside there, anyways...

I am trying to make a Garage Layout of what I want and what EC I will have on each Vehicle, etc. Even my NE Bloodring Banger is quite useless at this point since I can make an EC Mutant Bloodring Banger.

You know, just because there is a Conversion Trick to make any EC and Mutant Vehicle as well as a Conversion Trick to make any AP Vehicle, I will still talk about Special Vehicles from the Story and will always find those to be more special. For instance, I rather my BP/FP Voodoo than getting a Voodoo and making it AP. Sure, it's "better" in terms of properties compared to just BP/FP, but the fun and challenge of collecting is gone if you just convert, convert, convert. I MAY in the FAR FUTURE even re-do my 1st Save File and this time get the same 61 Special Vehicles, but add either the 3 EC Nebulas included so I can get 64 Special Vehicles in total, or even some of the Rare Vehicles included and make them EP/FP and maybe use Doherty early or the LV Impound, etc, etc......................................Or maybe I will do nothing and just be happy with the Save I currently have, which I am. I just feel "bad" ever since the Conversion Tricks were discovered. It makes WAY TOO MANY of the Special Vehicles in SA inferior at this point and I don't like that feeling. You go through all the hard work to obtain them legit and some of them are no walk in the park, either, and then after all your hard work, Conversions like these are found and they are all pretty easy. I don't like that...

Ah, ok, I've just released LSHIFT too early. It looks like it has to be released a few seconds after detonation, when you are "inside" or almost "inside" the Red Baron.

Respawning near Katie's house and having a "starting" vehicle (like Sultan) in Paradiso works very well, you have plenty of time to get to the mod shop.

Lethal Vaccine

From what Bender. said yesterday about visible EC2's, it looks like the AP/EC2 Feltzer from End of the Line is visible, then...?

Also, for my 2nd Save File I will obtain the EC2 Pink Club from Key to Her Heart while passing the Mission like I did on Mobile, and make it AP. This way, I can finally have an AP/EC2 Pink Club from Millie, which SHOULD BE the Vehicle she drives as a Jealous Girlfriend instead of the useless Pink Feltzer (not sure if it's EC2 like her Club).

I will get an EC2 Picador from Ryder's Driveway in Grove Street, EC2 Washington from Outrider with Mission Failure, keep the Brown Broadway Jizzy gives you during "Jizzy," and get the EC2 ZR-350 from Farewell, My Love and convert all 4 to AP, of course, so they are like the Photo Opportunity Vehicles, even down to the Brown Colors and EC2's. The only one that won't be Brown and like PO is the ZR-350, but it'll still be EC2, but just not the usual Brown Color found in PO. It's not special, though, only the EC2...

Also, I just checked the Guide...The ONLY Vehicles in the ENTIRE Guide that aren't in my Save with 61 Special Vehicles are: EC Nebula, EC Nebula, EC Nebula, DP/EP/FP/MP Police, Unique Andromada, and DP Leviathan. I am not counting the Mutant Greenwood or Mutant Sentinel since they are useless at this point just like a FP Greenwood from Drive-Thru would be or an EP Sadler from Are You Going to San Fierro?, etc, etc, etc...I also am not counting the AP Mountain Bike, EC Club, or the EC2 Remingtons since they can be obtained anytime and after 100%, etc...

So yeah, I won't do a big main Save again since I am only missing 6 Special Vehicles in the entire game that I would of liked to have in the same Save with 61 Special Vehicles. Plus, for my 2nd Save File, I will be obtaining these 3 EC Nebulas and Unique Andromada. The Police and Leviathan are nice, but I will get them in AP form...So after I finish this 2nd Save File, I will have obtained EVERY Special Vehicle in SA that matters EXCEPT the DP/EP/FP/MP Police and DP Leviathan (obtained the DP/EP/FP/MP Police on Mobile once already with Pause/Unpause, though).

There is a problem. I was able to apply mods, but when I pressed "F" to exit the mod shop, CJ got out of the modded vehicle as well and I was trapped inside the mod shop. The next time I changed my controls, so enter/exit vehicle would be "Enter", but then I couldn't exit the mod shop with "F", I had to use "Enter" with the same result as before. What should I do?

Yes feltzer is "kinda" visible with its UC2 , color has to be birght/flashy like s pink to be seen.

Ryders Picador that has UC2 is also visible.

Ill upload the part where its visible soon.

Lethal Vaccine

For Rare Vehicles I have: Phoenix, Turismo, Bullet, Euros, Hotknife, Sandking, NE Bloodring Banger, NE NRG-500, and Seasparrow. All are in my 13.90% Starter Save with only Big Smoke passed and no other Story Missions touched. I never have to hunt for Vehicles in Vigilante or locked territory ever again and any time I start SA and do another playthrough, I have the Vehicles already from the start. Not only do I have these 9 Rare Vehicles in the Starter Save, but also the EC2 Black Perennial, too. Never have to go about obtaining that, either, since it's included in my 13.90% Starter Save, too.

It's not like any of those Vehicles will come in handy unless you do a normal Save without any Conversions and make them EP/FP. That's where they pay off in the end. You can tell anybody you got a Phoenix for instance and then made one AP, but you can easily get a Phoenix from a Race in San Fierro and pass it first, then fail it (no addition +1 to Mission Attempts once passed) and get the Phoenix. Then make it AP with the Conversion. In other words, a lot easier and boring then getting one in Vigilante for a Starter Save. Even if you get one in Vigilante but it's NOT in the beginning of the game, it's still not as special as having one in the beginning without the Story Missions done at all and everything else fully done, too, like all the tasks in which can be done in the beginning to reach either 13.37% or 13.90% (with Big Smoke passed and EC2 Black Perennial acquired).

All the Rare Vehicles obtained in a Starter Save are for a normal Save without Conversions, imo. It's pointless to get them early if you don't plan on using Gray Imports to make them EP/FP...

I'll eventually take Photos and show what I got in my Starter Save as well as show the Stats so everyone can see what I did and achieved. It wasn't even that hard overall to do. I don't know why nobody seems to do Starter Saves. I guess they rather start from 0% and time and time again do their beloved, boring as f*ck Taxi Fares and other various mundane tasks time and time again. I rather get all that nonsense done once and for all in a Starter Save and then never have to think of it again each time I do a playthrough...

I did the entire 13.90% without even having 1 Meal in the Stats. Didn't even need Fast Food Restaurants. They are NOT needed in a Starter Save at all. It can "help," but it's certainly NOT needed without a doubt, 100% fact.

If Vigilante Level 12 isn't passed, every time you activate it, +1 to the Stats. I know you can use Vigilante to store Vehicles in Ganton Garage during the 13.37% Starter Save and keeping the dialog from CJ active, but without passing Vigilante Level 12 FIRST, this is a no-go as it's adding +1 to your Stats. There is only supposed to be 15 Missions Passed and 16 Missions Attempted in the Stats for a 13.37% Starter Save. With Burglary included, then it's 15 Passed and 17 Attempts. Mine, since I have Big Smoke included and NOT Burglary at all since like Fast Food Restaurants, it's not needed, I have 17 Attempts and 16 Passed due to Big Smoke. The only offset is the Chiliad Challenges which will add to the Attempts, but not to Passed until the 3rd Challenge. NRG-500 adds to Passed, but not to Attempts, etc, etc. So yeah, not only did I achieve the full 13.90% of what can be done in the beginning as well as getting these Rare Vehicles, I also have 0 Deaths, Busted, Cheats, AND 0 Missions Failed...

I wouldn't use Vigilante to store Vehicles in Ganton until Level 12 is passed...

Even when you activate Vigilante to get Rare Vehicles to spawn and obtain them, if you're doing it BEFORE Level 12 is passed, then the Stats are gonna be absolutely horrible with probably +50 Mission Attempts that aren't needed. Just pass Vigilante Level 12 FIRST and then get Rare Vehicles and use Vigilante to keep the CJ Dialog enabled...

I don't really care about Attempts stats, more i do about Deaths/Busted/Drown etc these bigger ones and i keep Pn'S at minimum.

I don't want to convert these to EP/FP i collect them for the challange and i convert them LATER on to UT then AP.

I don't know why nobody seems to do Starter Saves.

I'm actually doing one and it's pissing me off to no end. For instance, a while ago I had to discard about half an hour of taking snapshots in San Fierro because I somehow accidentally entered the "Max Cycling Skill" cheat...

Like I quoted from myself above...That's what you're doing...Adding +50 probably to the Stats, lol...

Pay and Spray Visits are my least cared for thing in any GTA. I only look at Deaths/Busted/Cheats/Mission Attempts/Safehouse Visits/Total Playing Time. All of which are the most important in my eyes. For instance, go ahead and pick up Police Bribes to lose the Wanted Level and avoid a Pay and Spray, but in the process you are taking TIME to pick them up and there is always a chance you get f*cked over in the process, thus wasting time, especially if you need to reload and do it all over if you get f*cked over. If a Pay and Spray is right next to me, it's less time losing the wanted level that way than going to pick up Police Bribes. Like I said, Total Playing Time > Pay and Spray Visits.

Safehouse Visits and Total Playing Time are a measurement of how good you actually are. Barely save the game? Means you can do most, if not everything possible in the game in a row without saving KNOWING you have the skills to pass things first try, without a doubt. Low Total Playing Time while maintaining Minimum Safehouse Visits? Means you can not only do things without saving, but doing it FAST. All in all, a much more valuable Save in the end and that's the kind of Save I assemble. Same with the Mission Attempts. It measures that you have the skill to pass everything without failing and ONLY failing when it's needed for a Special Vehicle and that is the ONLY exception. Again, something I've been doing in all GTA's for years. These are all the easy parts...I'd expect people to be able to do this stuff, but apparently not..

I'm actually doing one and it's pissing me off to no end. For instance, a while ago I had to discard about half an hour of taking snapshots in San Fierro because I somehow accidentally entered the "Max Cycling Skill" cheat...

What's the difference of me getting busted after 30/50 Snapshots? :p Or getting busted after 41/50 Horseshoes? Or how 'bout taking 4 hours of reloading just so I could get 14 Horseshoes in a row using a Seasparrow? f*cking Hydra Missiles are horrible when doing those Horseshoes. I've wasted TONS of time and had to re-do a bunch of things because of busted or wasted, etc, etc...Things like the Stadium Events and Courier Missions are rather easy, but the Collectibles suck since one wrong move, busted, wasted and have to re-do them all...I didn't even do all of them in a row, either. I saved TWICE while getting all 50 Snapshots. I saved THREE times while getting all 50 Horseshoes and I saved FOUR times while getting all 50 Oysters. People like fnxrak and zmoonchild do all of this stuff with ONE time saving the game after each set of 50 Collectibles...

This stuff isn't easy and that is why I like it. I already have FULL 53% Starter Save for III on both PS2 and iOS. I have FULL 44% Starter Save in VC on both PS2 and iOS. I have FULL 13.90% Starter Save in SA but only on PS2 and not iOS. I have FULL 48% Starter Save for LCS on both PS2 and iOS. I have FULL 49.20% Starter Save for VCS on PS2 and not iOS since it's not released for Mobile yet, but when it does get released, I'll do the 49.20% VCS Starter Save for Mobile, too. I also had a 31.86% Starter Save for CW on iOS, but didn't keep it, however, I plan on remaking it when I get to CW for my next playthrough and this time, I will keep it. So yeah, I have done FULL Starter Saves for every GTA in the Series but IV, TLaD, TBoGT, and V. The other 6 GTA's I have it for (III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, and CW).

I've been doing this stuff since 2014. None of it is really difficult. The only hard Starter Saves to complete in FULL in the Series are SA and IV...

Lethal Vaccine

I can confirm the Vending Machine Method without Satchel Charges works on PS2 to get off the BF-400 whenever you want during the next part of the Mission, however, sometimes Smoke kills the Russians before I get there. So I usually leave an extra guy alive to guarantee me to get to the Gas Station where the Vending Machine is. Now, the hard part...Blowing the BF-400 up that Smoke is driving is difficult. You need to jump off at the RIGHT time, not too late, not too early. Aiming is hard because of draw distance and when the BF-400 gets far away like in Videos of this done on PC, I can't even see it, practically...I only blew it up once so far to fail the Mission and retrieve only ONE of the EC Nebulas. That's another problem. I could of easily got two, but the EC Red Nebula didn't come around the corner as it was supposed to during the Mission Script. Due to draw distance once again, I don't think you can even get all 3 at the same time. Hell, I don't even know if I obtained the RIGHT EC. It might be an EC2. I am checking Videos and Photos now, but on PS2, Colors always look slightly different than PC. It's hard to tell, especially since so many of these EC and EC2 Nebulas share similar light Colors...The only one that stands out is the EC Red one which I have yet to see...

I hope I don't have to use rtyuijhggff Method using the Hospital Info Icon...

EDIT: Ok, after watching LieutenantCB17's Video of the EC Yellow/Green Nebula, I can tell I got the right one. Now for the EC Sandy Brown and EC Red Nebulas. Maybe I can get them at the same time, but I am not sure...I hope they spawn this time. I heard a lot things blowing up in the process. They may have blew up. It's so hard to blow the BF-400 up on PS2...

EDIT 2: Ok, I got the EC Red Nebula. For this one, I didn't think I bought a Sprunk soon enough, but jumped off early just to see if I would be able to and surprisingly I was able to jump off and immediately tried using the Minigun to blow the BF-400 up. I failed, however, I must of been doing damage to it or something as it lost the health EXTREMELY quick somehow and the Mission failed around where the EC Red Nebula is. I quickly ran down the entire street and the EC Red Nebula was sitting there perfectly in tact right next to two blown up BF-400's and an in tact DP/EP/FP/MP Packer. Sadly, I will be obtaining all 3 of these with 3 Mission Failures. For my first time, and especially since this is PS2, I am still glad I got them. When I get the EC Sandy Brown Nebula, I will show Photos of all 3 of them side by side! :D:p

toomuchinvigilation, which mod shop you used, Transfender or Wheel Arch Angels? If you used the second one I think you need a turner car to get out. Even if CJ gets out of the car, doesn`t the car get teleported with him? I just entered the vehicle again and exited the mod garage.

I have a save with NE NRG-500 for PC V1, but it is already in Las Venturas, is it ok?

Chain Game Debug Save v1 (everything unlocked, story stops due to no calls) NE NRGs at Santa Maria, Paradiso, and Prickle Pine, iirc. (El Corona garage has a surprise for you.)

Chain Game Starter Saves: Barriers for V1, Barriers for V2 - same features, but normal story starts in the alley. Convert to v1 scripts with the SnP modifications tool, but don't convert IPLs (get wrong barrier version if you want the bridges open).

If you are quick about it, it would be easy for me to convert your garaged NRG into NE, and probably less confusing for you.

There are a few complete Chain Game save archives available on GTAGarage if you need mission specific saves. Convert to v1 as needed using GTASnP. The Engineless NRGs are probably still in a garage somewhere.

BTW, if you loop this code in a cleo script then all vehicles spawned with a trainer will be no extra variations; the model number doesn't matter. For the NRG, you may prefer an exhaust variation (0 thru 2, iirc) rather than no exhaust.

0506: set_car_model 522 next_variation -1 -1 // No Engine, No Exhaust

I used Wheel Arch Angels. It was like when I entered my Boxville and exited the shopping menu, it teleported Boxville to the mod shop and replaced Sultan.

About using Beefy Baron, it has a third downside I forgot, you can only use Wheel Arch Angels and Transfender. While Loco Low Co. is way too far to be able to reach in only 3 minutes (the time it takes for the mission to end).

Loco is too far in 3 minutes huh? That sounds like my kind of challenge (

). What are the requirements of this challenge? Any weird camera issues? I think I'll make a few test runs.

First run, NRG taking the track route: 4:07 included a crash and some bobbles. How to save 1 minute?

NRG to SF airport Maverick: 3:08. Includes entering the Savana into the garage.

NRG to SF airport Ruster: 2:32. That might be enough time to allow for mission overhead.

Finally. The EC Sandy Brown Nebula always blew up when I tried to get it, no matter what. Blowing up the BF-400 to fail the Mission is serious stuff on PS2. Out of ALL the attempts trying to get these EC Nebulas, I only blew it up twice. Once, when I got the EC Yellow/Green Nebula, and again when I got the EC Sandy Brown Nebula, only the Brown Nebula had to be pushed all the way back to a Garage. A Fire Truck spawned to put out the fires of the BF-400's and when that happened, I jacked it and used it to push the Brown Nebula back to Ganton. As for the EC Red Nebula, I got it with being able to fail the Mission WITHOUT blowing Smoke's BF-400 up somehow as I explained in my above Post. All in all, a real pain in the ass. AP Packer, AP Sultan, and DP/EP/FP BF-400 are megatons easier to get than these EC Nebulas:

hAIYPlX.jpg?1

Since I was at it, I decided to take Photos of some Stats of mine in my Starter Save as well as my Rare Vehicle Collection. The "R" on the Map is indicating Ryder's House in Ganton for the Mission "Ryder." I only did Big Smoke and acquired the EC2 Black Perennial for my Starter Save, as well as doing all required tasks for 100% to reach 13.90%. Plus, obtaining 9 Rare Vehicles found in Vigilante, Locked Territory Spawn Points, or Locked Territory Found in Traffic (Turismo).

Speaking of NE NRG, the only NRG thats spawns from Vigilante looks like yours all the time, i obtained NE NRG like 4times already, they always was the same. (No Exhaust)

Orion, it has no weird camera issues, but when you respawn at the hospital there are no vehicles to jack, only vehicles close to the RC Baron spawn, so you have to run and that takes a lot of time. By the time I reached Doherty garage on foot I only had 1 minute left, which I can choose to go to Transfender, which is easier, or Wheels Arch Angels, a bid harder but still very manageable.

Isn`t faster getting a Shamal from SF Airport?

If you have Katie however, I wonder I her car spawns even if too far from the RC Baron

Lethal Vaccine

No worries, a Bloodring Banger alone is nice for a Starter Save. Only spawn point is the Stadium in San Fierro and only AFTER passing Blood Bowl. So getting one early isn't easy for a beginner and the only way to get it back to Los Santos early is the undrowning spot used during the AP Conversion for large Vehicles. So yeah, A Bloodring Banger alone is equal to a Bullet in a Starter Save. Both found in San Fierro and both need to be brought back to Los Santos like I did to get them. Only the Bullet is quick enough to jump the Flint Intersection unlike the Bloodring Banger...

Anyways, you can try and make a Starter Save like this one, if you can that is. Also including all Rare Vehicles and having the Stats at a minimum...

Also, the Bloodring Banger doesn't matter since I can make one EC/EC2...Which is better than NE, anyways...

Lethal Vaccine

I am sure I can get a Quad. Just never cared to...I got all the essential Rare Vehicles, imo, except Vehicles that can be impounded, like Helicopters and Planes (Police Maverick, News Chopper, Raindance, Leviathan, Hydra, Rustler, etc, etc).

Bikes are the easiest to spawn in my case. I found all 3 NE Bikes first try in Vigilante not even once, but twice already. The NE BF-400 and NE FCR-900 I didn't care to keep since this was BEFORE the EC/EC2/Mutant Conversion. Since that is founded, I need these 2 NE Bikes and make them EC/Mutant and later AP...

Survive with 4 stars? Why would this be hard? It's kinda like, what you have to do while doing most tasks in the Starter Save like Hippy Shopper Courier, Burger Shot Courier, 50 Oysters, 50 Horseshoes, 50 Snapshots. Not to mention spending a good hour just cruising back and forth in LV trying to find a Turismo and getting to spawn. In all honesty, a Turismo from LV to LS all in one go without storing it in the LV Impound before hand is probably one of the hardest Rare Vehicles to get in a Starter Save. I found two Turismo's in Vigilante but it was the day AFTER I obtained it in LV and brought it back to LS, all in one go once I got one to spawn. So yeah, I doubt I would have problems getting a Quad when I already conquered the other much more difficult tasks.
