Okay Save, but considering that you used a Chain Game Save, it won't be shown in the Collections Post. Reason being that the SA Chain Game Saves could have Special Vehicles which are inaccessible on unmodded Versions, because the Chain Game Saves for SA are modded with Green Goo Pickups, Jetpack Pickups, added Vehicles around the Map etc. Also, these Special Vehicle Topics prohibit any talk about Modifications or such Outside Sources, which are not useful for Special Vehicles. The only Modifications allowed to talk about in the Guides are Emulators (for testing purposes) or Save Editors (for confirming Special Vehicles if they're Special or not).

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't save Vehicles on the Roof of the Rockshore West Safehouse Garage normally, well you said that it's from the Chain Games (or can it be done normally? I'm unsure).

By the way. The BP/MP Walton is not EC at all. Millie's Pink AP Feltzer is not EC at all. Your Coach is not NE since it has the Brandings on the Sides. AP/EC Feltzer from End of the Line is EC and not EC2, since the Secondary Color is Visible and Special. Mutant is simply EM, though I see your AP/EC FBI Rancher also has EM Wheels.

The EC on the Tampa confuses me. I heard that changing the Color of the Tampa in Mod Shops will change both Colors simultaneously, meaning that if the Colors are different and not from Traffic, they'd be EC.

The Color on the Infernus isn't EC...

Still, it's a cool Save by Standards of a Chain Game Save File.

By the way, I don't think a "GTA Series Special Vehicle Guide" will be necessary, I will just fix each Guide one by one, get the Videos replaced as Links again, and fix the Blue Background Glitch on each Guide...

In the chain game save,we only have FBI truck and RC Cam in mulholland and calton heights resp. i removed both of them as i knew this would create some doubts

In the chain game we can save on top of rockshore west not in the regular one

By mistake i wrote creek

Looks like i did not check the Coach after the meat business

leave it dont add,i just wanted to share it

Ah, awesome! Now we have six EC/EM Conversions in SA lol. OM0 Just Business, The Green Sabre (Pass), Mountain Cloud Boys (Fail/Pass), Home Coming (Pass), Los Desperados (Fail/Pass), OM0 Freeroam (No Stats Penalties). Also the EC/EM BF-400 from Just Business, AP/EM/NE BF-400 from Just Business OM0, EM Greenwood with EC Roof and DP/EP/FP/MP/EM Greenwood with EC Roof from Reuniting the Families (DP/EP/FP/MP one needs OM0), EM HPV1000 from Small Town Bank, also I think you can make an EM Hydra in Vertical Bird though I'm unsure about it.

The best EC/EM Conversions still are from Los Desperados and OM0 Freeroam, also Mountain Cloud Boys for fun.

The EC/EM Conversion from The Green Sabre goes like so: Start the Mission, go to the Bravura and then go to the Mulholland Intersection, when there's a few Ballas left, go and grab a Vehicle and get to TransFender, the Mission will pass and you'll be teleported in Hidden Interiors Ghost World to Angel Pine, get into the Ammu-Nation at Angel Pine and out, run all the way to Los Santos and get into the Vehicle you want, then make it EC/EM, multiple Vehicles could be made EC/EM though, but it's recommended that the Vehicles are all from the same Garage, since once you enter a Vehicle, the World will be Black.

With OM0, there will be more EC/EM Conversion Tricks.

There are too many cutscenes that CJ will move to a fixed position after those cutscenes, so that CJ can get control in those cutscenes with OM0 and back a vehicle to TransFender, then skip those cutscenes. As a result, CJ will move out TransFender to a fixed position, and then you can do EC/EM Conversion Tricks.

This is a cutscenes that CJ will move to drive a AP Vortex after it, so that it is likely to do EC/EM Conversion Trick with this AP Vortex only. However, as we all know, there are many other cutscenes that CJ can move to walk after those, which means you can do EC/EM Conversion Trick with any vehicles.

 

By the way, the above URL contains two videos, and the 1P is obtaining AP Newsvan from Cut Throat Business (Fail) (OM0) without pushing wreck.

Honestly, I don't need 100000 EC/EM Conversion Tricks in the Guide, many of them being unneeded, like the OM0 Just Business one. I'd include stuff like the EC/EM BF-400, EM HPV1000, DP/EP/FP/MP/EM/EC Greenwood and such, only for fun.

But for the actual Conversion Tricks, I think that the The Green Sabre, Mountain Cloud Boys, Los Desperados, and OM0 Free Roam EC/EM Conversions are enough. The Green Sabre for being an early example of making EC/EM Vehicles, though running to Los Santos is quite inconvenient for it. Mountain Cloud Boys as being a good example on how the Conversion works, plus it's the first one ever foun. Los Desperados being the best one, since it's the latest non-OM0 EC/EM Conversion, allowing you to get the most stuff at very late in the Game, when all Garages are unlocked, so you have the full 77 Garage Space then. OM0 Free Roam for being able to do the EC/EM Conversion at any time as long as you have a Phone Call.

I appreciate you finding these EC/EM Conversions, but there's literally way too many of them, especially with OM0. Only some are really needed during Gameplay or assembling Saves. To be honest, the most High Priority Unobtainable Special Vehicles we need are the RC Vehicles from New Model Army, also a Method for the EC2 Sentinel from Saint Mark's Bistro eventhough I'm not really a fan of EC2 Vehicles.

I still need to fix the Guides one by one to adapt to the New Forum Layout, fixing the Blue Background Bug and such, also replacing Videos with Links.

I agree with you that we don't need 100000 EC/EM Conversion Tricks in the Guide. But in my opinion, at least all the EC/EM Conversion Tricks WITHOUT OM0 should be listed.

It wasn't that long ago that people were concerned that the new conversion tricks would ruin special vehicle collecting. I argued at the time that it would merely change the focus of what was special. What I didn't anticipate was the huge potential for new discoveries. I'm really glad that current players have a chance to learn something new and contribute to the conversation like I did when the game was much newer. 

And before Om0 the new discoveries were far and few between. This is a good time to be a collector.

When it comes to SA, it's only the OM0 AP and OM0 EC/EM Conversions that I don't really like existing. Not due to OM0, but because of removing the Special Status of a lot of Vehicles. It's only SOME EC or EC2 Vehicles along with the AP Tanker Trailer, RC Vehicles and Unique Vehicles being Truly Special now, plus the NE Hotring Racer A/B. The tremendously difficult AP Boxville with Pass Method can just be ignored with converting a Boxville to AP. Vehicles like the DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police can just be replaced with an AP LSPD Police. This is also why I respect an EP/FP Phoenix more than an AP Phoenix, since getting a Phoenix from Vigilante early is tiring and more difficult than getting a Phoenix after 100% Completion. I simply like to divide non-OM0 and OM0 Vehicles, since it's a Save Assembler's Choice, since (in SA) forgetting about OM0 Vehicles, then almost everything during the SA's Storyline is Special and worthy to be obtained.

About Discoveries, I think everything possible is now discovered and found. The only needed Unobtainable Vehicles in SA are the NMA RC Vehicles basically, but I see they'd remain Unobtainable. There isn't much to contribute anymore, except for some new EC/EM Conversions here and there, with OM0 and without. I believe that 50% of the SA Missions have a secret EC/EM Conversion in them one way or another. Still, every EC/EM Conversion has the same Logic behind it, same Usefulness during the Save, same Choice of the Player how he wants to design the Vehicle's Colors and Mods. The only real difference is where the EC/EM Conversion is located in the Mission Tree, since some don't allow the use of Wheels Arch Angels.

For example, if you want an AP/EC Black Maverick without OM0, it's possible. If you choose of using Mountain Cloud Boys EC/EM Conversion, you can obtain the AP/EC Blue Maverick from Toreno's Last Flight and make it AP/EC Black, but it would cost a Death without OM0. It's unrecommended to do that since the EC on that AP/EC Maverick from TLF is Special EC which can't be obtained from Mods Shops. If you choose of using the Los Desperados EC/EM Conversion, you can get an AP Maverick from Misappropriation with Pass, and then make it EC Black with Pass, no Stats Penalties at all. With OM0? Just get any old Maverick, make it AP and then EC Black using OM0, there you go. It can also be EM if you want to using any EC/EM Conversion. As you can see, the Logic of Converting Vehicles is the same, but the Logic of what you can do (depending on when the EC/EM Conversion takes place, in which Mission) is very different.

13.90% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed (17 Attempts / 16 Passed), 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 17 Safehouse Visits, 10:15 Total Playing Time, and 2 out of ? Special Vehicles.

 

All That's Left: 30 Oysters, 50 Snapshots, and 50 Horeshoes.  I ALREADY HAD a Seasparrow on top of the Mulholland Safehouse, but when I used it for 20/50 Oysters, it despawned on me when I was swimming somewhere to get an Oyster, so I had to GET IT AGAIN which gave me one extra Safehouse Visit than I wanted as well as a bit more Total Playing Time than I wanted.  Oh well, not too bothered by it, though.

 

I can safely say that when you assemble a Starter Save on iOS, you finish with the SAME Attempts/Passed Stats as you do on PS2.  17 Attempts and 16 Passed is the same as I have in my PS2 Starter Save.  The percentage is different, though, as 13.90% is maximum (with Big Smoke) on PS2 and any Platform for that matter, actually, but for Mobile, it's 15.50% due to being able to learn the Gym Moves for all three Gyms giving you an extra 1.60%.  I won't be doing the 30 Oysters, 50 Snapshots, and 50 Horseshoes, thus being short by 1.60%, but that is good enough for me to move on.  I can always come back to it and do more if I like and even get more Rare Vehicles if I like.  But for now, the Starter Save will be considered complete for me at 13.90% and I will back it up on my PC and USB Drive so I always have it and then proceed with finishing to 100%, Minimum Stats, and as many Special Vehicles as I can get.

There is 59 Special Vehicles in this list and REALISTICALLY, I WILL be able to obtain 50 of them.  6 others would be on this list, BUT, for Mobile, those 6 are unobtainable!  AP Packer, AP Sultan, EC Nebula, EC Nebula, EC Nebula, and Unique Andromada will not be considered at all due to being unobtainable for Mobile.  Of these 59, 9 of them worry me and might be annoying, take a while, or quite possibly never be obtained for my Save which is totally fine as it's all on PS2 where I have 69 Special Vehicles.  Far better than anything I'd assemble and accomplish for Mobile.  Those 9 Special Vehicles that worry me are the AP/EC2 Bravura, Unique/AP RC Raider, AP FCR-900, AP Boxville, EC Maverick, AP/EC Newsvan, AP Infernus, AP Greenwood, and AP Fire Truck.  If I can get the Bravura, then it's likely I can get the FCR-900 and Newsvan, thus adding 3 more to my Save which will give me 53.  The Raider won't be obtained with the Sawn-Off Shotgun Method I love to do on PS2, but instead with some useless Packer/Parachute Method that makes it far too easy to obtain, but it'll have to be done for Mobile since the Controls are trash.  It's possible I get the AP Boxville and EC Maverick, as well, but only time will tell.  As for the AP Infernus, AP Greenwood, and AP Fire Truck.  Who knows.  I'll try the Gang War Method on the Greenwood and hope and pray I get it, but for the Infernus and Fire Truck, it's highly, highly, highly doubtful they will be in my Save.  "But you can go on a date with a Girlfriend and when you're having "coffee" close the App and then resume and you'll be sitting in the AP Vehicle you can't obtain from the Story!11!11!!111!!!!!!!1!"  No.  This Save will NOT include any Close App Methods, any OM0.  Strictly traditional.  Even using the Auto Save Slot for less Safehouse Visits is not going to happen.  Any moron can skew Stats via using Cheap Methods, but I won't stoop to those levels for my own Saves whether on PS2, PS3, or iOS.

Awesome! It's good that your SA Mobile Starter Save is now complete. Well, not fully complete, but complete in the sense that everything you wanted to do for it is finished. Horseshoes, Snapshots, and Oysters can be missing since it's a Mobile Starter Save, and you have all that stuff done in your PS2 Starter Save. Besides, you could always approach this like how you approached your IV Starter Save, by finishing it later when you feel like it, though I don't think it's necessary to do that since Mobile is a Side Platform compared to your PS3 Projects, and the Collectibles will be done during the 100% Playthrough anyways.

If there are any Special Vehicles I know that you won't get on Mobile, it's the AP Fire Truck no doubt. The Difficulty of that Vehicle on Mobile Platforms is horrendous and only Thomas Wang was able to pull it off. Also the AP Infernus will give you extreme headaches because it's beyond Luck Based. The Shotgunning AP Vehicles won't be a huge Problem for you, I suppose, since they're more Skill Based than Luck Based. Skill Based Vehicles? Can easily be obtained if you're presistent and dedicated to your work. Luck Based Vehicles? The Game decides if it wants to f*ck you over or not, the Player has zero control over what would happen. Still, even some Skill Based Vehicles will be more difficult on Mobile since the Platform gives an extra Difficulty on these Vehicles, but I'm sure you'll pull it off and obtain these Vehicles on Mobile anyways.

So realistically the worst case scenario would be that you have all Special Vehicles except the AP Fire Truck and the AP Infernus. But that's atleast what I predict and take it all as a grain of salt, since who knows what could happen in your Playthrough.

Girlfriend Calls, Phone Call from Zero after buying his RC Shop, Phone Call from Woozie after completing Up Up and Away!. I don't know if these Phone Calls are "High Priority" or could work depending on the OM0 Setup you want to use.

Why do you want to get OM0 in End of the Line anyways? I don't see any reason to do it, to be honest.

Anyways, about the SA Guide, it's being worked on to fix today. I experienced huge Lag when I tried to Edit some Posts though...

Exactly.  I plan to do 50 Snapshots after I pass The Green Sabre and BEFORE "King in Exile" since King in Exile is what starts triggering those dumb Cesar Calls and I don't want to get Attempts due to Cesar calling me all the time when I am trying to do Snapshots.  So those will be done as soon as I unlock The Country.  The remaining 30 Oysters will be done after Explosive Situation as well as the 50 Horseshoes, too.  After Explosive Situation, Quarry is unlocked and it's the FINAL Side Mission to unlock.  So when I do a 100% Save, I always stop with the Story and Special Vehicles after Explosive Situation, anyways, so I can tend to all the other bullsh*t for 100% like Import/Export, Races/Time Trials, Trucking, Quarry, Freight Train Level 2, Valet, Shooting Range Challenge, and all that nonsense, etc, etc...

 

Either way, I have enough done to proceed with the Story and Special Vehicles as well as make it to 100%.  A Starter Save is just that...A START.  It's not a finished product even with reaching the full percentage allowed at the stage of the game.  It's far from complete and all that matters is the final results and product.  With that said, it's NICE to be able to complete the FULL Starter Saves, but when it comes to Mobile, I simply don't care about the Saves like I do for PS2/3, so if something isn't FULL on Mobile, I am not worried.  Granted, my III Mobile, VC Mobile, LCS Mobile, and CW Mobile Starter Saves are FULLY COMPLETE while SA is not, but that is ok cuz like I said and you said, I can just come back to the SA Mobile Starter Save and continue working on it in the future if I really wanted to.  Doubt it, though! :D  Once I finish this 100% Save, I will see no reason at all to go back to the SA Mobile Starter Save OR ever bother with doing a 100% Save on Mobile ever again.  I won't even do any more SA Saves, period, even on PS2/3.  No need anymore...

 

Only time will tell how many Special Vehicles I finish with on Mobile.  The only downfall is the Controls but even if I was able to use my Wireless PS3 Controller to play, why would I?  That would be like PS2/3 all over again but with a sh*tty and tiny screen to play on and a glossy shiny effect sprinkled all over everything in SA! :D If I want to make Mobile like Console and use a Controller, then I wouldn't of bought Mobile in the first place.  I own the Mobile Ports to play...Mobile.  Meaning Touch Screen Controls and a whole new perspective on each GTA and with a whole new set of Controls, as well.  I don't buy a Port and then try and make it identical to something I already can do and accomplish.  If I had a Controller?  Then no doubt I would FINISH the entire Starter Save and no doubt I would be able to get ALL of these Special Vehicles without issues, but since no Controller, there is always the issue of the slowed down Controls.  For instance, it's sort of hard to switch Weapons to a Fist or Parachute while running away from the Cops and keeping the camera on the Wreck at all times.  Console?  Do this in my sleep.  So something SO basic for me on PS2/3 is THAT MUCH WORSE on Mobile.

 

Anyways, I will start tomorrow.  Can't wait to experience it all and finish it so I can just be done with Mobile forever other than VCS Mobile IF and WHEN it gets released.  I'll surely do the 49.20% Starter Save and one 100% Save for that game no doubt.

Yeah, so I obtained the AP Tampa with passing Nines and AK's on my first attempt and I also got the AP PCJ-600 on my first attempt, as well.  I didn't think the AP Tampa was too hard and using the Sawn-Off Shotguns to get it out of the water was pretty easy on Mobile, too.  I'll surely be able to obtain the AP/EC2 Bravura and then also the AP FCR-900 and AP/EC Newsvan.  The first 16 Special Vehicles on my List are from Los Santos and if I am able to get all 16, then I will have all of LS other than the Impound completely filled which is pretty good for Mobile standards.  USUALLY, I would use Doherty and the LS/LV Impounds and get many more EP/FP Vehicles and the AP Packer, AP Sultan, and 3 EC Nebulas on PS2, but I won't be doing this for Mobile.

The Redsands garage can be used in Chain Game saves but it's been moved to surround the dock at Toreno's Ranch. This dock garage is appropriate for any floating vehicles you may want to collect, but be sure to park any Vortexes on the dock or they'll sink when they spawn.

 

The Chain Game saves used to have "special vehicles" but the new conversion tricks can recreate just about anything we modded into the garage. There are no modified handling flags in the CG garages but most have custom colors and several vehicles have out of range color values, which sometimes look awesome - sometimes not.

 

FBI Truck, RC Cam, Andromada and Ranch Lure all have spawn points in the CG.

Awesome job! I see that your SA Mobile Project is going quick. Well the Starter Save took two weeks to be completed for you, but that's because it's Mobile. Still, it's very quick when it comes to Mobile Standards. The only things that will slow you down are the Collectibles and Side Missions which you need to do for 100% Completion anyways, but the Story and Special Vehicles will go quick no doubt...

Any further Discussion about the Modded SA Chain Game Save Files will be removed. As I already said a million times, this is not the Place to talk about Mods... During Normal Gameplay, stuff like the FBI Truck and RC Cam are unobtainable, unavailable, these things never even spawn without Mods. Andromada only being available during Stowaway, the Rancher Lure only being available from a Cheat Code.

Yeah, the Starter Save was sort of slow since those kind of Tasks are boring to me.  I don't mean the 4 Star Wanted Level stuff, but in general, like having to do Collectibles, Stadium Events, Chiliad Challenges, NRG-500 Challenge, BMX Challenge.  With or without a Wanted Level I get bored of Tasks like these.  It's not just SA, but all 10 of the GTA's I did Starter Saves for.  I DO THEM mainly cuz the stuff required for 100% is painful if you do Saves frequently like I do, so having to always start at 0% is ridiculous and having to repeat those same boring Side Missions, Collectibles, Rampages, etc, etc over and over becomes repetitive so having a Starter Save, despite hating to do them is worth it in the long run for me.  So no matter how long it takes, I just need to do one and finally have one, at least @ 13.90% out of 15.50%.  I much prefer the Story and Special Vehicle related Tasks over any Starter Save Tasks.

 

24.06% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 3 Missions Failed, 1 Pay and Spray Visit, 23 Safehouse Visits, 12:57 Total Playing Time, and 11 out of 59 Special Vehicles.

 

I am nearly 1/4 through the game.  Slowly chipping away at it until it's done with...

 

I have 40 Attempts / 35 Passed right now due to failing OG Loc for the AP PCJ-600, Life's a Beach for the EC2/EM Pony, and House Party for the BP/FP Voodoo (Not Required).  If this were PS2 or I had a Controller, I would of obtained both the BP/FP Voodoo and BP/FP Tahoma at the same time with passing House Party, but it was too annoying on Mobile with these sh*tty Controls so I had to fail for the BP/FP Voodoo and then pass for the BP/FP Tahoma.  The other 2 Attempts are Offsets.  1 Offset from the Starter Save (Chiliad Challenge) and 1 Offset for House Party since you have to go into a Red Marker at Burger Shot which counts as an Attempt and then another one in Grove Street which is yet another added Attempt in the Stats.  This happens on PS2 for me, as well.  With that said, I know the Offsets are surely different on Mobile and PC compared to PS2 when all is said and done.  I'll keep an eye on things closely throughout and see what the Offsets are and what things cancel out, etc...

 

So far I have the EC Perennial, AP Tampa, AP PCJ-600, EC Mesa, BP Forklift, EC2/EM Pony, BP/FP Voodoo, BP/FP Tahoma, Seasparrow, NRG-500, and Freeway inside the 4 Garages in Los Santos.  Next thing I do (tomorrow) will be converting the EC Perennial, EC Mesa, EC2/EM Pony, Seasparrow, NRG-500, and Freeway into EP/FP with Gray Imports.  Failing 5 times and on the final Vehicle passing the Mission.

 

After the EP/FP Vehicles are converted, I will get the AP Admiral from Los Sepulcros and then start attempting the luck based DP/EP/FP/MP/NE BF-400.  Once that annoying BF-400 is obtained, it's finally time to get the DP/EP/FP/MP Police.  I'll probably show Photos of some random attempts at destroying the Greenwood early and how easy it is on Mobile to get the Police.  Once the Police is obtained, I just have The Green Sabre 2 Special Vehicles to get.  I got a Minigun in my Starter Save so getting the AP Sentinel will be a breeze.  The AP/EC2 Bravura will be the test of time if I can obtain these Sawn-Off Shotgunning Vehicles on Mobile or not.

 

Here is the Los Santos Garage Layout for when I leave Los Santos and start The Country Story Missions and Special Vehicles:

 

Ganton: BP/FP Voodoo, BP/FP Tahoma, DP/EP/FP/MP/EC/NE BF-400, AP PCJ-600

Verdant Bluffs: AP/EC2 Bravura, AP Sentinel, AP Tampa, DP/EP/FP/MP Police

Santa Maria Beach: AP Admiral, EP/FP/EC2/EM Pony, EP/FP/EC NRG-500, EP/FP/EC Freeway

Mulholland: EP/FP/EC Perennial, EP/FP/EC Mesa, EP/FP Seasparrow, BP Forklift

Los Santos Impound: Empty

 

This is obviously going to change as once I do Explosive Situation, I generally move ALL of the Special Vehicles out of Los Santos since I need those Garages once more at the end of the game.  Furthermore, this is the Garage Layout planned for IF I get these 16 Special Vehicles.  I have 11 right now and hope the BF-400 and Bravura will be obtained.  If not, I'd only be leaving Los Santos with 14 instead of 16, but I believe I can pull these off on Mobile.  I'll know soon enough.

This is our forums only SA special vehicle topic as enforced by the leaders of the sub-forum. If we want to discuss collecting vehicles using Om0, cheats and custom saves we will. I don't appreciate your elitist attitude or micro-management of the conversation.
