The yacht defence system is ridicolously OP

How can people enjoy their yachts OP when your being a fuc*ing typical cliche arsehat with your jet? It's obvious you were out to troll. Because you didn't get your way, you come on here, create a useless thread to bitch about it saying they should nerf the defence system?! Please, don't breed!

Honestly, it needs more. The yachts need a deterrent for people arriving in boats, swimmers, and divers.

For real. Sometimes I don't want anyone on my yacht without having to be in a lonely invite-only lobby. Can't do that right now with all the boats that inevitably pull up.

People should know the risks of going in free roam, so your point isnt valid. And btw that super accurate mortar has more power than the railgun, a weapon considered by most as OP

 

 

So what you're saying, is that you were "FLYING YOUR HYDRA" at low levels straight towards someones yacht, when you "randomly" blew up?... LOFL and no, it would appear that "Most" here don't consider it OP at all. Let's face it, for the first time in your GTA life, you were trying to jet troll and got your ass absolutely handed to you!

Mods, please lock this thread. It's getting out of hand. It adds nothing to the forum, and is liable to get off-topic. The last thing we need is discussions giving Rockstar ideas about the Yachts advanced missile defence systems being nerfed in the next patch for ffs.

Its only the cry babies with k/d below 1.00 that couldn't kill jets, would like this mechanic that R* implemented.

 

This will either get toned down like the homie rocket or someone will find an exploit around it.

so the players who are brave enough to not hide in op armored bricks are the scrubs? k then. Also no one gives a care about k/d ratios which like every other stat in this game is both pointless and useless especially because it can be manipulated by exploits and get padded by the idiots who are too scared of ground combat and hide in their armored bricks to get easy kills.

 

and if they find an exploit to get around it, it's almost a guarantee that Rockstar would hot fix it asap. Also if anything needs to be nerfed, it's the op armored brick also known as the hydra.

 

 

edit: and I don't get why people are so paranoid about other players getting on to your yachts. Just have the defenses set to on, and they can't do anything to you if they get on it.

The Hydra is easy to take down. GTA has ways to counter stuff. You bad players would rather cry like babies until R* saves you like they did the tank.

 

Till now R* has not nerfed the jet simply because its easy to fight back. Again R* catering to the babies with this defense system...it won't last long, believe me.

like they did the tank? they buffed the tank when the idiots who used them whined about being sniped out of them. They also gave you jet griefers a free pass when they nerfed the homing launcher because of your complaining about being blasted out of the sky. So if anything they have catered to the griefers who complained and in the process gave the rest of us the shaft up until now with the yacht defense system.

anyways, to get back on topic - Rockstar just needs to leave it as is for the reasons already brought up here, namely that it allows the players that want nothing to do with combat every once in a while, to be able to hang out and not have to worry about being blown up by the players using the jets in every session.

I love it. Without that defense system, I wouldn't be able to just chill on my yacht without assholes like you coming and trying to blow me up or blow up my helicopter and boats. Instead, you get blown up just for trying it. Of course, yacht owners who agree that free roam is "for death matches" are able to turn their defenses off, then you can try to grief them if you like. But those of us who don't want to be bothered by idiots like you, well...put it this way, that defense system is now my new favorite feature of yachts.

You think every jet player is bad on the ground? It doesnt take skill to press one button and the game aimbots for you along with combat rollspam. Yes that takes lots of skill.

 

I can do everything in GTA online pro level. I aint just some random that can only use jets. Anyways soon this will get nerfed too.

For $10,000,000 I would say the missile defence system is doing exactly what it is supposed to, keeping dirty little peasant Hobbitses on the shoreline wondering why there jets just blew up.
