Tell you what, your Mom's gonna go nuts when you ask her for pocket money.

"...but didn't I just give you FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS?".

Youre not reading it right. His/Her mom gave 500 dollars towards it and he/she pitched in the rest which was 100 dollars . About the shark card purchase amount, don't know if that was a typo or what.

In America currently you can get a Xbox One for 300 with all the bundle Christmas specials. Don't know how much its going for elsewhere and exchange rates and stuff..

Serbia has dollars? Or did you convert your Serbian Dinars to dollars when you posted this thread?

Because 1000 USD is over 112K in Serbian Dinars. :D

@Vanessa. I know about starving children in other countries. More than half of the worlds populace is still in need of electricity, running water, education and food.

But to put it into perspective, money doesn't get you much in America either.

I took my family out to the zoo and if we did everything we wanted, gift shop, paying to feed the giraffe, and eating at their restaurant, it would have been 300 dollars for one afternoon

We only spent 100 for admittance alone cause we took our own sandwiches and we still left unfulfilled feeling like we didn't do everything we wanted.

For 300 dollars you can get a console and have fun 365 days a year, not saying to not go out anymore to the theatre or go out on a trip etc, or doing sports. But gaming is an incredibly good bang for the buck and unfortunately yes, a lot of poor Americans are into gaming.

All income levels of course love gaming , rich people game too, but theres just a higher chance that those with extra money will be out doing more things, going on real yacht cruises, horseback riding etc, weekend in Aspen or Vegas, or going out cruising in their new sports car

We have a Nascar race track but again, its 75 dollars last time I checked to ride with a professional for a few spins around the track. Life is expensive, while gaming is still very affordable.

The guy is from Serbia and says he spent $1000 on shark cards

What bullsh*t.

Average Serbian makes $6,353 per year

Just a kid trying to get likes or impress people.

I've spent almost $200 dollars on sharkcards but that's more than enough

personally i will say "good for you" OP, it is YOUR money to spend how YOU want, but buying cards only gets you ingame cash, there is nothing as far as gaining that lost game time back.

Oh to be a kid again....

Enjoy it now while you can bud, before you know it you'll be all grown up and spending money foolishly on things like girls, cars, or muddy jeeps.

Bowling is helluva expensive thing to do in America as well. We easily spent 80 bucks for the shoe rental , food, and a few sessions on the lane . Compared to gaming.... gaming is most affordable by far.

Good for you OP. It's your money, even if it was given to you, you're free to spend it how you want. That's all.

In New England we spend $2.50 per string and that includes shoes...
