I feel sorry for the OP. It's just all too much effort for them.

I don't feel sorry for the host because of the way he went from trying to reason his logic to blurting out about how much we're all idiots and what a con GTA online is. It was a bad post.

the OP is 100% right and his thinking applies to real life too. just the other day i saw an item i wanted to purchase but couldn't afford. obviously my first thought was "i'll have to save for a while and maybe do without a few everyday luxuries in order to save the money more quickly." how gald i am that instead of this i just stole the wallet of every senior citizen i saw coming out of a nearby post office. loving my new diamond encrusted keyfob btw.

attempts at joking aside we don't have to buy everything in the game. some sh*t is expensive, that is what it costs. the value of an item is determined by the purchaser. cheaters are cheaters, regardless of half assed justifications for their "me me me, me first, i want it now now Now NOW." attitude. cheat if you want but don't come round here expecting an "attaboy".

CTFU.

I know me and had I Shark Carded my Yacht, I'd be bored of it already (mainly because it doesn't move, I'd pay 35K to cruise around the ocean), but since I know how much time it took to earn it, I'm going to enjoy the f' out of it.

Sorry OP I couldn't hear you, I'm too busy getting sucked off on my yacht

The best part about sucking off people with yachts is that you don't need to buy a yacht!

She's got a point though. Walk around someone else's yacht. Sit in a random chair. Sit in the hot tub. Marvel at all the bedrooms/bathrooms. Order a drink. Look at the helicopter, the boat and the jetskis. Get the full yacht experience (it literally takes ten minutes), then leave your money in the bank.

Chuuuuch.

I dunno, I'm trying to be chilled about the whole yacht buying thing...

You wanna be chilled about the whole yacht buying thing? Find a friend or someone that has one that will let you on/in. Now, here's the important part... Walk around it when no one is there and report back.

As someone that has earned his way, I don't feel bad for you OP.

I can enjoy the spoils of blowing millions on a yacht because unlike you, I played the countless hours required.

You break it down with math as if you expect everything that entertains you to "pay you the maximum per hour of your time".

When you watch sports, do you also break down how much an hour the sports team values you?

Should I go to the Destiny forums and tell the guys that have been playing the game from day one that I should get the same benefits they have in a fraction of the time?

I'd expect them to laugh real hard at me.

If you think a video game company isn't fair, we'll wait until you get a load of the real world.

You think you are being devalued for you time? Wait until you grow up.

I think if I went to the Destiny forums and made that comparison, they'd probably say "Well, at least we worked for our sh*t instead of glitching or buying them with real money."

They probably wouldnt say that as Destiny has microtransactions now, or its coming soon, and of course there are glitches for it too, only takes twenty seconds to do a google search

Thanks for missing the entire point.

And for you guys saying...

"I already work hard for real money...I don't want to do it in a video game to buy stuff."

Well that's exactly why they made Shark Cards available...for all of the instant gratification baby-adults out there.

R* gave us all a shortcut, it's just gonna cost real money.

And I don't get the criticism of the shark card buyers, when some of you spend money on booze and a few hours later it's just piss. I'd say that has to be a bigger waste of $50 than a Shark card.

On an individual level there's nothing wrong with buying shark cards. If you're gonna get $20 worth of fun from a $20 shark card there shouldn't be - and isn't - an issue there.

I'm going to point out your biggest mathematical error. Even at 30 hours to EARN a yacht, for a game that's been playable for over 19,000 hours, that's pretty weak sauce.

Now I'm going to point out you are an entitled [email protected], with piss poor math skills, piss poor deductive reasoning and a half-assed, trying to be smart with my words cheater, stuck in a tweens mentality. Hope you're proud of yourself...

Last time I checked this was a video game. If you can't spend frivolously on GTA, where can you? I'm fairly cheap even with my GTA money but I bought a yacht and yes I make money the legit way. I wasn't aware it warranted being called an idiot. I play the game and earn money. I might as well spend it on SOMETHING I like. When it came to the gold jet, I thought it was dumb and pointless, but people who bought it aren't dumb. They just happen to like it. I don't get certain people's need to get on their high horse. If you don't like something...don't buy it. If you like it and you think the price is worth it, buy it.

One thing not being taken into consideration despite the mathematical breakdown is that while it may take that many hours to make enough to afford the yacht, you are giving off the impression that said player would be starting from scratch. The game has been out how long? You should already have amassed at least a million by now. If you're a newcomer to the game, then you should expect to have to grind your way to the top like the people who've played the game legitimately since Online's inception have. I don't think it would be fair if I played mission after mission; heists after heist; and someone who just bought the game can come in and have all the same sh*t I have. Now if you want to pay real money by way of a Shark Card, then I tip my hat to you. So be it, because I'm not willing to do so. I have a child and real world responsibilities. But if both of us make GTA $ through grinding missions, I don't think it's a bad thing to have to work your way to the finer things in (GTA) life lol Otherwise, why play missions? Why do anything? If everyone got everything right away, after you did missions and heists the 1st time, it would be redundant and pointless. I initially played each mission and heists for the fun of the activity. Now, I do so to earn money. Why? To spend it on things in the game and have fun. Go figure

Hahah sounds like you get kicked out of a lot of places.

I hope you don't rely on booze to have a good time, that's the entry level position at the alcoholic's factory bro.

My suggestion to people deciding whether to go get drunk or get a shark cards for the yacht is...

Get the Yacht.

At least you'll have it a day after purchasing it.

Get drunk some other time.

It's almost Xmas...there's free booze everywhere.

No sorry, you just sound like an entitled whiny crybaby OP, as other have pointed out, if you stuck in the time you could have made that money ten times over, even if you have a busy real life schedule.

I have not done so myself, because I don't exclusively play GTAO, and there are times when I don't log in for a month or even two months, because I'm playing something else, so I don't have the money, but do see me whining about, crying that it's unfair?

No, because I know I didn't put in the time to earn enough to be able buy all these thing, there's a dozen things I want to buy, like the engraved weapon skins, like some expensive cars, but I also don't want to grind for money, because that's boring, and it actually makes me want to play the game less.

You know what I do, I play the modes I like to play, like racing, and I play with friends and other guys and girls I've met on GTA, and just have FUN.

And the money? I'll get the money, eventually, in due time, but I'm not going to bore myself out of my skull doing it, I'm not gonna cheat, hack or glitch my way to it, because that's defeating the purpose of the game.

And I'm not gonna buy Shark Cards either, because well that's something that isn't worth real life money to me, but to others it is, and please let them, to publishers like Take2 a steady income is often needed to warrant the continued existence of large online worlds like GTAO (so there's also why glitching/cheating/hacking more money is bad for the game)

You can want all of it now, and want it fast, but these things Super Yachts are supposed to be special, they are meant for people who've stuck in their spare time to earn that money, or sacrificed some of their real life income to pay for for those Shark Cards.

So no, you are wrong on pretty much all of your points, seriously reevaluate what you exactly want out of this game, and then either quit, or work your way towards that goal, with your friends and online buddies, having fun while doing so, and if you chose the latter, don't worry to much about the timetable, GTAO is going to be around for a good long while to come, you don't need to have that super yacht today, you can still get it in 3 months, or 6 months, it really doesn't matter all that much.

Last I checked the only thing you can buy with real money in Destiny is cosmetic emotes. I haven't played since the Sparrow Racing though, so maybe they're selling exotics for all I f*cking know.

Miss Malevolent

Sorry. My bad. Didn't know this was a thing. Are they a rare spawn?

If by rare you mean they spawn in the same location from 22:30 to 04:00 every game day...

Yup, super rare.
