Rockstar themselves have life banned alot of these idiots but unfortunately can't catch them all. Online modding isn't acceptable to anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence. It's a small blessing that this software is available to normal people who enjoy GTA Online in the manner it was designed to be played. Clare is a bloody angel. Believe me I'm no expert on the subject but from my understanding Rockstar could catch and ban all these useless cheating turds, they simply don't want to. Rockstar couldn't claim 8 million people play their game any more if they did. It would be more like 500,000 or less ... Anyway, i plan on downloading and using EIS and hopefully annoying the cheating scum as much as possible. If i eventually get banned, oh well. Rockstar is by far the most loathsome company i have ever been a customer of and i will just stop playing and buying shark cards if i do. It's their loss not mine. BlaringFiddle Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 You would think it would be a simple matter for them to code some silent triggers into their engine that go off when someone say spawns things that they shouldn't be able to spawn; cause explosions they shouldn't be able to cause; etc; Simply have all connected clients that witness auto-report this (except the actual hacker). They wouldn't even need to try to detect everything. Just a few key things. The bans can come a couple days later. The hackers wouldn't know which operations were causing the bans. The situation is fairly f*cked up, seeing as there are people playing this game, who are cheating and working for Rockstar Support. And unbanning themselves. And their friends. -snip- That picture isn't supposed to get to you. Whoever shared the pic with you, should be keeping it for himself. Sounds like you know the agent personally. The ultimate fault is on him - if someone is going to be corrupt, then they should cover their ass and at least use it for good. Don't ban people who are innocent and didn't use mods to cheat or otherwise gain unfair advantages over others. If he had any competence, he shouldn't have shared the image in the first place. The fact that he shared it suggests that he either isn't very bright or he understood the possible repercussions and didn't care. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm sure he's a kind person in real life; I'm just pointing out facts. Hope this doesn't hurt me in the long run like stating facts sometimes does... There should be a whitelist system for utilities that don't cause harm to others and don't promote cheating, or simply allow 'modded' sessions as was the case with GTA IV. Of course, as far as I know, there aren't too many tools out there that don't promote cheating- so it shouldn't be difficult to do. To be honest, my tool is the only one I know of that doesn't promote cheating. I'm not trying to be narcissistic or anything, just pointing out fact. Hope I don't get banned for pointing out facts and stating truth. I can easily imagine such an agent himself reading this, getting pissed off, and spamming the ban button just for spite. As a courtesy, I've removed the image. How did you get that confidental pic ? I got it from a source, though for the confidentiality of those involved, I will not say who. I'm looking at that screenshot and I guess I don't really get how that is proof that R* employees are unbanning themselves and their friends. I see that it appears to be ticketing software that R* support would use, beyond that, I'm not seeing it. The screenshot itself indeed does not show solid proof that employees are un-banning themselves and their friends. It is merely a screenshot that went along with the original discussion elsewhere that was meant to [generically] prove that the guy himself worked for Rockstar. With the links visible on the toolbar of the Google Chrome window (like SC Admin, etc), it would appear evident that that agent has the power to do that. SC Admin is indeed the system used for bans in GTA Online. Anyhow, the screenshot was just a supplement to the allegation. I've mentioned this to a few people a few times but of course, no one wants to listen to a f*cking grad student when you have a company with a team of developers who ignore it and don't admit it. I'm not going into detail, but I got two violation emails last night with two different ticket id's, for the same account. Basically, banned again even though I was already banned.
