Best ways of earning RP after final update [LAST GEN]

I recently started GTA Online for the second time on the PS3, not long after the final update was released for the last gen versions. Many things have changed since I last played it in mid 2014. For instance, money is now much more easily earned than before, since even replaying low level contact missions pay around $10K on Hard, making it unnecessary to grind missions like Potshot for money.

 

The RP system has changed too.

1. Races, which used to be the main way RP was grinded previously, no longer seem worth to grind. At 4 minutes, all races that I've tried give less than 1000 RP (at level 25).

2. Contact missions now look like the best option to earn RP, since all of them can give 1600-3000 RP plus decent money depending on whose mission it is.

 

Survivals and Heists don't seem to give a good RP/time spent ratio, but they're fun to do occasionally.

 

Thus can anyone recommend other good ways of earning RP on last gen? I haven't tried all the races yet, plus sports such as golf or parachuting, so I may have missed certain ways.

there are some "modded" captures that give you good RP for a couple seconds of play.

 

heist give good rp too, youre low level so you may get kicked from heist if you try to join, but if you have friends, heist are the way to go.

 

missions in freeaim give you an extra 25% RP.
